Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Peru

I absolutely love this place. I read the other reviews, and yeah, the are more expensive, but NOT unreasonably. Plus, everything at this restaurant is fresh to order and their toppings are always fresh. The staff is always overly friendly here, and they always give out free coupon cards for chips & a drink for the next time you go back when you eat lunch inside. So if you go once and get the coupon, every time you go you only pay for the sub because you always get one. I also joined their rewards program. It’s good. 1 free sub every 12 you buy and the rewards never expire. And every Wednesday they give you double rewards points, so you can go 6 Wednesday’s and get a free sub instead of actually buying 12. The problem is you have to ask to know about that stuff it’s not posted everywhere inside. Oh and they have daily specials there everyday Monday thru Friday it’s like $8 or $9 gets you their sub of the day and the chip and drink included in the price. I guess I’m pretty biased because I love the food and how clean it is there and the staff doesn’t look like or act like they hate you and their jobs like they do at other restaurants in this area. I’ve even gotten to know some of their names because they go out of their way to check on your meal and make small talk with you. It’s just one of the best ran places locally and they have options for everyone, they even turn their subs into salads for people (I tried this once it was actually really good and they have real salad dressing choices) and then they also have the gluten free everything for those people who have that problem. If you’ve never tried this place, you should. You taste the flavor and difference compared to Obee’s, Subway, and Jimmy Johns literally in the first bite. All other sub shops are stale and bland in comparison once you eat fresh bread with fresh meat and cheese and freshly made produce. And if you have had them and hated it you should try it again and if you have a problem you should tell them they’re really professional and kind and they’ll fix anything for free or make you something else. I also wish they had delivery because they are on Uber Eats but there’s never any drivers (not their fault it’s Uber’s). I asked about DoorDash and they said DoorDash has a lot of drivers and they’ll have that soon. But they do deliver their catering orders and provide free plates and napkins and cutlery because I ordered that for my work once.

Overall, great food, great service, insanely clean for a busy restaurant, and I’ve yet to be truly disappointed.

They can't seem to get my order right, everytime I order, I even specify in the notes, please no onions and peppers, and they even wrote on the bag no veggies and it still had veggies! Then I call to complain and they say I can either refund the order or remake it, the person on the phone starts getting ignorant cuz the persons sandwich they messed up was very upset because they messed the sandwich once again (4th time in a row) the person on the phone says if that guy in the background doesn't stop yelling I'm not gonna...

Great food. Great friendly service. Place is clean. We arrived with a large group of people and they processed all our orders quickly. Quality didn't suffer. The only thing I would like to see changed is the selection of bottled iced tea. Only unsweetened and lemon were available. That will not stop us from going again.
