I’m giving this location one star only because there’s no option to leave zero.
Today, Sunday at 6:30 PM, we visited the Chipotle on Peru. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. I asked for our food to go, and we were immediately told they were out of white rice, black beans, and barbacoa (three major ingredients).
I ordered a bowl with brown rice and steak, and I politely asked for extra meat since I was paying. The staff member serving the meat acted annoyed and added it very reluctantly. On top of that, the brown rice was undercooked and hard, not at all what I expected.
When it was time to pay, I realized drinks weren’t even offered or mentioned, so I had to pay for them separately. We asked for Coke or Pepsi, but when we went to pour our drinks, there was no Coke or Pepsi available.
Then came the worst part: no forks or spoons in the entire store. I went to the front and asked the cashier for utensils, and he just looked at me wide-eyed. A girl next to him said, “Just go to Jersey Mike’s and ask them for forks.” That was incredibly unprofessional. How is it possible for a major chain like Chipotle to not have any utensils and worse, not inform customers before placing their orders?
Even though we ordered to go, we were planning to eat in the car because we had a two-hour drive ahead of us. We ended up going to Dollar Tree nearby to buy forks because Jersey Mike’s only gave us one fork. And just to be clear, it wasn’t Jersey Mike’s fault at all. On the contrary, they were kind and helpful, which is more than I can say about the service we received at Chipotle.
If you want to avoid frustration and inconvenience, stay away from this Chipotle. This location is clearly not prepared to serve...
Read moreWe drove an hour to eat at this restaurant because we were so excited to have Chipotle. Google showed it to be open for dine in, but when we arrived there was a sign on the locked door saying they are all digital. We sat in the parking lot and downloaded the app, then proceeded to set up an account and place our order. We included a name for each burrito ordered. When we went to the drive thru to pick it up we were handed all of our food completely unlabeled. We asked the employee how to know what each burrito had on it and he told us we'd have to open them all up. He then shut the window and walked away. We had people in our car who were not related to us and we had to open and dig through each burrito to see what meats and toppings were on each one. There were ingredients spilling out all over the car. Then we had to try to get them folded back together so that we could eat...
Read moreI went in at about 840pm on 12/4 and just about all of the workers there were cleaning up to go for the day even tho they close at 10pm. All of the food except the white rice was old and dried out looking. All of the meats were super dried out and NOT fresh. The fajitas (onions and bell peppers) were super soggy and wilted and almost looked brown. They honestly looked like they had been there in that pan all day long. The lettuce was old looking and definitely not fresh. The tomatoe had sooo much juice in it and the lady serving it wasn't letting the juice fall out of the spoon all the way so it made my food soggy.
When I go to chipotle I expect fresh, it's kind of their thing. Not 8 hours old, stale, and dried out. I will definitely not be back to this one.
Also, this is the first chipotle I have ever been to that I have seen them use plastic bags liners...
