My husband Josh and I used the mobile app to order our food on June 5 at the Kokomo, Indiana location just south of the hospital. We wont ever use the mobile app again due to this horrible experience. Our order came to $32 and some change. We were told that our order had been done twice and we were double charged. I told him this could have been because when we were placing the order, something had happened and we didn't think the order had went through as it didn't tell us anything about receiving our order or confirmed our payment either, so we resubmitted the order. Once we got up to the speaker, t#he gentleman was standing there and was taking orders by hand and informed us of the situation. He told us that we were charged twice for our order and that it showed up as two separate ones but we wouldn't be charged for both of them and that only one order was going to be completed. I told him that i would double check to make sure all was squared away at the next window. He said that would be ok. So, we pull up to the window and the lady tells me our total and i ask her about the double order and told her that either we could tale both orders if they were already being made or we would do a refund for one of the orders if it wasn't being duplicated. She assured us that there was only one order and we have to call the mobile app customer service number in order to get a refund because it was placed through the mobile app so they don't deal with any refunds or issues for them. The next day we tried to get in contact with them, I forget the name of the gentleman we were told to talk to to resolve this, but my husband finally did. It turned out to be about 2wks or so before finally speaking to him. During these 2wks it took, we had lost our receipt or accidentally tossed it out with the trash, unfortunately, because Josh was informed that the only way we could receive a refund was by providing the date (June 5), the time (approximately 1:30p) and the transaction number, which we didn't have since we no longer had the receipt. Although I could send them proof of us being double charged, we are not able to receive a refund. Therefore, our order that should have cost us $32 in all actuality cost us $64. So beware of conflicts with the mobile app and double check to make sure you only get...
Read moreThey have some very questionable employees who have friends that think it's funny to throw beverages at cars in the parking lot like juveniles but in this case it was meth heads. The food is the same at any other Taco Bell but the problem with this one is they severely underestimate the amount of supplies, like the fact that I could not get at all a large drink cup. However, I got two mediums which made up for it but made it extraordinary difficult to handle. They hold a monopoly on being a late night choice for fast food and it shows. They don't have to try hard. If the corporation would look at this franchisee and the lack of follow-through that management seldom executes, this restaurant would be stripped of its franchise and the Corporation would take over, which may not be a bad idea. Then again, they may see how minimal the traffic is getting ready to diminish with the loss of jobs in the area and just cut their losses and close up. I rarely go by that side of town when I drive through and I make a point of doing so simply because I wanted to avoid going by that restaurant when the manager lied and didn't know that one of their employees was helping meth heads throw drinks in the parking lot at cars. I advise everyone reading this to steer clear of this location. It is not worth the risk. The restaurant should do more especially for what they're charging, for...
Read moreWent through drive through, boyfriend ordered the loaded taco box, and a quesadilla, i ordered a frito burrito and a number 11 - 3 doritos locos tacos. Added sour cream one firey. Simple right? Apparently not. They marked it supreme and so it came with tomatoes. I'm autistic and tomatoes are one of my sensory issue triggers. I went inside to clear up my order. The cashier was pleasant and seemed the nonconfrontational type, a good guy. He went and told the order to the cook. I was like "okay it'll come quickly and I can get out of here and get back on my 3 hour drive back home to Ohio." No. I waited over half an hour for three dorito tacos with sour cream. Lady in the back saw me waiting, asked cashier why I was waiting. He said what i was waiting for. She then tried arguing with me about fixing my order and I explained they marked it supreme and i just wanted sour cream. Soon after i got the tacos, went back to the car. My tacos barely had any sour cream and when I was eating my burrito i ended up pulling a hair out of it. Also never gave us napkins. Highly disappointing for my old hometown favorite. Never again. I'd rather go hungry than eat at that...
