âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Jing Jing Garden â The Greatest Hole in the Wall Youâll Ever Find
You know a place is gonna be good when the menu is just faded photos of lo mein from 1998 and the cash register doubles as a homework desk for the ownerâs kid. Jing Jing Garden is that place.
Behind the counter is a small child doing math problems, occasionally stopping to hand you a bag of fried rice like a seasoned pro. The walls? Decorated with the same 12 dishes youâve seen in every Chinese takeout in America â and somehow every single one of them is perfect.
The food? Glorious. The kind of General Tsoâs that makes you question your life choices up to this point. The fried rice could probably broker world peace. You donât come here for ambiance â you come here because your soul needs something warm, salty, and made in a wok thatâs seen more history than your car.
Jing Jing Garden doesnât need fancy plating or modern decor. It just needs a menu, a deep fryer, and the quiet confidence of a place thatâs been doing it right for 30 years.

She said that's not what I ordered on the phone, I said I don't even know what the item you just said is. Then she gave me my new total, I said that sounds better, then she snapped at me and said, "well you get what you order from now on." She also said it would take 15 minutes, ended up being 30+ and the food is cold and not very good compared...

Now, when you order an item from there menu and compare it to the images they provide... it looks absolutely nothing the same. Not even the same ingredients! I had ordered a dish that showed unbreaded chicken meat, green peppers, onions, orange peppers, little corn pieces, and more with a thick sauce.
I received deep fried breaded chicken, celery, carrot pieces, and a runny sauce that was like water.
I do not know if management changed policies or if employees have started slacking, but their foods have started to go downhill over time. I would rather drive to Kokomo for better Chinese dishes for the same...
