Dollar General — Local services in Peru

The manager was extremely rude, not helpful at all. Both employees were standing behind the counter but making everyone use self checkout which was only accepting cards. When I said I was having trouble she very rudely told me that card only was printed in bold letters right in front of me. My question is what about those of us paying with cash??? I will never shop in this store again. It's the one on washington street in peru indiana by the way. I don't feel that people with such nasty attitudes should be working with the public I certainly hope something will be done about this but I'm sure it won't. This store is basically brand new. The other store was smaller and the aisles were always crowded and very disorganized so they built a new, larger store. The first year it was awesome. Now this new store is crowded, aisles are full of unpacked boxes. Almost impossible for two carts to pass. I have heard many complaints. Obviously size was not the problem with the old store; rather management is the problem! It really depends on which one of the 4 you go to but each of them are only 5 to 8 min away from each other. The north and south stores are usually stocked the best. West end is commonly out of stock on multiple Items.
