Today I went to my local Hardee’s and my daughter went inside to place an order. When she return to the car she said that our food cost almost $30 ($27.50 3 biscuits, 3 hash rounds, one drink and a side of bacon). When she got in the car she said that her hashbrowns tasted cold and like old grease. Upon looking at the receipt I wanted to know why a chicken biscuit cost $6.17. So I went inside and asked to speak to a manager. There was a employee on in the lobby and I ask her about the prices, how much a biscuit was. She said our prices went up let me get a manager for you. When the manager finally came out I asked her what the prices were, because it is not broken down on the receipt. She said it was because I put cheese and gravy on the biscuit and they have a new system. I was charged $1.39 for a condiment cup half full of gravy. I asked her another question about the prices and she said “I already explain that to you, we have a new system and we are trying to get the prices sorted out. My daughter came in and said that her biscuit did not have cheese on it, it was charged on the receipt so I asked if they would fix her biscuit. They handed the biscuit back to another employee who sent it to the kitchen and when it returned it was in a bag that had a coffee cup full of gravy and the same biscuit still with no cheese. I asked the employee if I could have my receipt back and she yelled at the manager and said “get this lady her receipt back.” The manager came back handed me a folded receipt with $3.25 in it and said have a nice day and walked off. The generic response that was given to me in reference to this throughout the whole entire conversation was sarcastic and rude. She gave me just enough information and attitude to ensure that I would take whatever was given and accept it. I worked in customer service for 15+ years, and that is not how you treat customers. I work too hard for my money to spend that much and it to be incorrect...

But that is not why. the fact that the manager was yelling at the employees and cursing and the employees yelling and curing at the manager. I've worked in the food industry myself and I've never seen such a dysfunctional kitchen. My mouth was agape listening to some of the things that were said. They were so busy arguing that costumers waited at least 15 mins in line and we waited 30 for our food becuase they were so busy arguing. Our food was done before the grill caught on fire.
Yall seriously need to learn how to work together or else nothing will get done. Everyone deserves respect and that's no way to treat ANYONE. A kitchen is a team. You cant do things on your own that's not how it works. I'd say more but ya. Yall get the point. This is said...

When we were about done, we noticed the guy in the kitchen went to the bathroom. Shortly after the girl that helped us, went outside. The girl finally came in, went to the bathroom, and the guy came out of the bathroom and went outside. While all of this was going on, we heard a continuous dinging noise and realized someone was in the dt waiting to order, and kept saying hello.
