Well... its about time I did a review on this place. I'll be covering Subways in the general Petal, Camp Shelby, Hattiesburg area. So let's take it from the top:
It took me till I was 24 to settle into a business that I enjoyed enough to make a career out of.
I'm 30 now, and I've been working at the same place for 6 years now, and the only halfway decent place to eat lunch for the past 6 years has been a local Subway.
So I've eaten enough Subway to know whats working and what isn't.
The pizza is greatly underestimated when they do it right.
The wraps are also overlooked when done right.
The Subway Melt is one of the best values they have, and for some reason, I rarely see it on the actual menu anymore.
Good luck finding actual marinara for that meatball sub.
I often get ASKED if I want Guacamole on my Turkey Bacon Guacamole Wraps.
I often get asked if I want Guacamole on my Turkey Bacon Guacamole sandwiches.
Sometimes I get charged for the cheese that THEY put on the pepperoni pizza. And sometimes I don't. I've never questioned it. It's just strange that sometimes my pizza totals $5.08 and sometimes it totals $5.30.
Do NOT order a Guacamole meal on the app! It doesn't matter if you customize a sandwich for Guacamole OR order a sandwich that was SUPPOSED to have Guacamole. More times than not, if I order something with Guac on the app, I'm wasting money equivalent to the premium I paid for the guac. And this has happened to me atleast 10 times since the app rolled out. So they owe me about 15 bucks worth of guac.
It happened today, and inspired this review.
As long as Subway gives you what you pay for, I'm sure it tastes real good.
If they don't, it don't.
It's not that a sandwich without guac tastes bad. It's just that paying for a sandwich to have it and then eat one that doesn't have it will put a bad taste in your big fat...

In this situation I was charged twice for one visit and had proof from my checking account and the clerk, who was very nice by the way, called the Manager who through all the years I’ve been a customer of this restaurant thought he was the owner, and explained the issue to him and then hands me the phone to talk to him and explain again that I was charged twice, he says I dont understand.... umm, my account was charged twice for the one visit I have a screen shot of my account and showed it to the clerk. Back to back charges for 17.85 same date. Well he says there’s nothing he can do that I would of had to come back the same day, well the charges didn’t go through till the next day. I’ve been trying to call the restaurant all week and not once did they answer, so I went there today and sat in a long line to talk to this manager/ owner whoever he is I think his name is something like Nesbit he talk with an accent no a Mississippi one, he’s been there as long as I e been going there, and he could care less and did’t even offer to look into it for me. So I say so your going to loose a customer that been coming here for 20yrs over 17.85 and all he said was I’m sorry... Read moreI ordered from DoorDash and I received a soup sandwich literally because DoorDash says that they have sliced avocado and instead of calling the customer they just replace it with the smash that they have and it turns your sandwich into a soupy soggy mess and when you call them their phone number doesn’t work because they don’t have a store phone. I’m guessing for situations just like this they refused to issue another sandwich to replace it after 14 calls on the day before and five calls today I got the phone number off of their receipt. This is horrible service and I wouldn’t recommend...
