McDonald's — Restaurant in Petal

Use to love the snack wraps and mushroom Swiss angus. And the old location was my after-school special back in middle school.

But now: I constantly get SEC Mcgriddles with no sausage on them or with nothing on them (2 pancakes in a wrapper!) Even taped a video where I called it before I even unwrapped it.

Now it's the Pico Guacamole. I've ordered it a dozen times. I've received it without guac... Without pico... With almost no pico... With almost no guac... Or not even the correct sandwich at all. I have eaten that sandwich the way it looks in the picture MAYBE 3 out of 12 times.

I never edit my order. I never special order anything. I order everything with its respective standard components/"ingredients".

I take this seriously enough to rant because I figure if I order a top-of-the-line $6 Pico Guacamole Artisan Big-Kahua Monster sandwich, then that's exactly what I should get, right?

Heck I ordered a pumpkin spice latte and got a cup of hot dark water the other day (not coffee. Dark mocha-water.) I'm not knocking people that have been there a while. At the end of the day: I say employee retention has gone down since my days of working there. So kids/students never even work there long enough to know how to assemble these burgers correctly or learn which button to press under high-stress situations(but let's face it: I never even get in line during happy hour, so... I dunno. A good question is: why am I stupid enough to still eat there when order accuracy has been under 30% for all of my orders in the past 6 months. It didn't use to be near that bad. Not even close....

I have held off from writing a review as I have grown up going to the Petal McDonalds and have never had an issue, however. The last 3 times I have come to McDonalds and ordered I have sat and waited for longer than 30 minutes at a curbside pickup just to get my food. The first time this happened there was no record of my order except for my receipt, to prove I had ordered, so needless to say my order was never made. The second time they just said there was a hold on my order and that was it, I received my food 30 minutes later. This time I was asked if I wanted my receipt and when I said “yes ma’am, please.” She told me it did not print out, so I went own because I could see she was struggling and I heard the printer make a weird sound so it sounded like there was a paper jam, I got up to the second window and they told me there was a hold on my order and to wait at #5. I ordered at 2:24 and it is now 2:52 I just called to get an update and they said to let them check and they hung up on me. I am not sure what is going on but I didn’t think an order for 3 McDoubles or an order for 1 sausage, egg and cheese McGriddle and two burritos or an order for a snack wrap meal was that big of a deal. These were the orders that were placed for the three times I went they were not all placed at...

Bad service, no salt on fries, no ketchup in bag no napkins in bag no straw in bag everything looked thrown in the bag. No suggest sale .drink hardly no ice cup was not filled up with drink , no thank you just shut the window. When I got home I was missing two sandwiches and a ff. So mad I drove 22 minutes one way to get the food that cost gas in car both ways and the price of the food and my time . And an extra blood pressure pill. No joke I was so mad. Can't take time to check order to see if it is right off that I did get maybe had eight ff in it sorry just sorry but believe me they got time for cell phones and talking to others and friends about the night before. Won't be back I used to swing manager for eight years in Anniston Alabama at McDonald's and we never had this problem we worked under the best managers Adrean Ford and supervisors from corporate office in Birmingham Alabama. We always suggest sales. Smiled. Greeted our customer like they were our only one that day. No matter how stressed we got. We were told if we get that stressed come tell us they need space for five minutes we new to go releave them for five....
