Park Place Pharmacy — Local services in Petal

This is now my favorite pharmacy in the city of Petal! A few months back, I went to my old pharmacy several times to get my monthly prescription filled only to be told I would have to wait 3 or 4 days for their truck to come in with the order containing my particular medicine! Consequently, the first time it happened, I went to Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart with no luck of getting my meds that same day. Finally, this particular pharmacy in Petal had them in stock for me to pick up with only 15 to 20 minutes waiting time! Because of their swift punctuality, I've been regularly returning here every month for approximately a year now to have my medicine filled. Also, I plan to eventually switch all of my medications to this amazing pharmacy! Additionally, the store carries lots of homemade items including jewelry, smell- good products, gifts, health and beauty items, and a large variety of various collectibles and souvenirs. The only slight issue I have realized is lots of items are overpriced. However, this will not prevent me from coming back for more goodies! Equally impressive, they maintain a speedy drive-thru service. Oh, and their air conditioning is off the chain, especially during this heat wave we are currently experiencing....

Oh dear. If I could give a less than 0 Star Rating you can bet that I would. This is my first actual interaction with this place and potentially my last. Why? Well. I just spent the last 30 minutes feeling like I'm a ghost up here by these people at Park Place Pharmacy. About 9 different techs walking back and forth and I'm ignored like I don't even exist. Then I'm fed a line by this one older lady with raven black dyed hair about someone in there not being able to pay attention because she was her daughter, was 14, and had recently had a seizure. Umm. Okay. I feel for you lady but not to sound heartless nor uncaring but that's not my problem that's hers. Making that amount of money her seizure afflicted minor daughter shouldn't be in a pharmacy, maybe at home recuperating with a care giver, instead of in a place peeling bandaid out there wrappers to out into a bin where people need medications taken care of and filled that could be life or death necessities. 0 Stars. Do not recommend. Was told on Thursday that they had my prescription and it was filled. They also called me on Friday to tell me that it was ready and I told them my wife would be there in two hours. When my wife went to pick it up on the following day she was told that they had given it away. They then said that they would have me one on Monday. I call on Monday and they say that they have it in. I could not get there until the following day and once I get there they say that they are again out of stock and would not have more until the 26th. This is terrible business especially for a family owned Pharmacy. I would expect this from a Big Name Pharmacy. If there was a time limit to pick up the prescription I should...
