I am not much of an ice cream connoisseur, but this place may have just changed my mind on the topic.
First, lets talk about frozen custard, which is the base of many varieties.
For those that dont know, frozen custard has a simple magical ingredient, egg yolk. This enhancment gives the final product, this silky, creamy texture, that is beyond words.
You can tell this ice cream is made in small batches and they use quality ingredients. Every bite is special.
Equally amazing are the super friendly staff. The product knowledge, the pairing suggestions, the description of the flavors were spot on.
So, next time you pick up your pizza at old Chicago, stop by Angela's and pick up a pint to go. They will hand pack any flavor, and it travels really well.
