Let me start by saying that my family and I originally planned to hit our favorite to go spot in Petaluma, Old Chicago Pizza which never fails to deliver great customer service and delicious tasty deep dish pizza. However, they were close today and my family and I were craving some pizza so we went to Google Maps to see if there was any good pizza within proximity in the downtown area of Petaluma and we happen to see that there was this place that was literally next to Old Chicago Pizza. It had good rating on Google Maps so we decided to try it out. So we then walk to this place. As soon as we walk in the server/owner of the place seem like she was having a bad day. In the time being my family decided to use the restroom while I waited for the server to say something to me like having a seat or let me bring you the menu. So while I am standing there clueless I ask the lady should I seat down or can I order here at the counter with you, she then replied with, “Of course, you seat down”. So from the start it looks like she was in a bad mood. Then my family came back from the restroom and started looking at the menu that she brought over to us. We decided to order a 16” Pizza half Pepperoni and half Ham and Pineapple. Apparently after you make your selection you have to go back to this server that was standing at the counter to tell her what you want to get. So I stood up and went back to the counter to tell this server that we were ready to order, and so I told her exactly what I wanted. Even my family heard clearly I told her half Pepperoni and half ham and pineapple and a green salad with ranch to the side, she then replied back to me the order pretty fast. I swear I don’t remember her replied back half pepperoni and half ham. Either how, few minutes later she brought over our drinks that we order and we noticed that she had a bit of an attitude, after that she brought over the green salad this time she did said to us at least, “here you go, enjoy”. Everything seem so far like it was going well at least for now while we were enjoying our green salad. About 20-30 minutes later the pizza arrive she put it down on the table. We them noticed that the half of the pizza that had the ham was missing the pineapple that I requested. My mom then mentioned to me you should let her know that they forgot the pineapple. So I stood up, thinking to myself that it was probably not going to be a big deal, right? Oh boy was I wrong! I started telling her that the other half of the pizza was missing the pineapple she then responded back with a very condescending attitude saying, “No! I repeated back to you the order, and you didn’t say anything about it!” So then I told her that I was pretty sure I told her I order pineapple. She then started telling me while yelling that she had proof what I order as she had a recording of that on the business cameras. Really? A good owner/server would of handle this in a very different and professional way saying something around the lines of, “No worries we would take care of that”. But no! She then starting arguing back to me in a very unprofessional way. At this point she started instigating me by continuing to yell. My sister and my mom then got up and started arguing back to her for the right reasons. As ironically speaking, she was accusing me of giving her a bad attitude from the start. I seriously don’t know now what was going on with her, maybe this lady suffers from mental stress or maybe that’s part of her personality but all I can say is that this is not the right way to conduct a business. Specially went you’re a small business owner like she replied back to me yelling, “I am the owner”, when I told her I wanted to speak to her supervisor. I ended up leaving this place after paying for the pizza that we couldn’t even eat. Who ever wants to try this place out think again. Also it looks like I am not the only person on Google Maps and on Yelp that complains about her bad attitude. If you don’t believe me look at other comments people have...

My wife and I ordered a combo, dining in. It wasn't anything special and the dough was soggy in the center of the pie. It had a lot of toppings which seemed fresh but that's all I can say that was good about it. My wife ordered a beer for me and a water for herself. She was given a Pepsi instead which she didn't drink. She didn't want to make a fuss so she didn't even bring it up.

Two women, an older mother and middle aged daughter, were the only ones working in the restaurant. There was one other family dining in the restaurant, two older gentleman who were brothers and their mother. When my wife and I were nearly finished eating the older woman owner was chatting with the family of customers about how hard it was to get good employees. The owner then went on about how she only trusts and hires whites to which her daughter came over and told us "don't listen to her." Then her daughter joined the conversation with the other family and said she doesn't hire Mexicans because they think they know everything.

My wife, who by all accounts looks white, is actually 1/4 Mexican so we weren't very pleased by this experience. We paid and left. We will most certainly never come back here and it's not just because the pizza was mediocre.

I'm not going to judge whether or not people like these two women should be in business. I'm just posting our experience so that others are aware of who they're potentially supporting when...

I have always LOVED this place... recently things have changed, The service has gone way downhill. While we were waiting for food one of the owners/cooks/ or servers (who I have seen there many times) came through the restaurant with his dog, went in the back (hopefully not kitchen) for a while and then left with the dog through the restaurant. After waiting over an hour for food and watching tables that arrived long after ours get their food, we finally asked for a bill and left without everyone getting their food. 3 of the 4 salads came and 10-15 minutes later we had to ask for the last salad. There were 5 people in our party and only 3 pieces of garlic bread were given (usually they give tons). Then when our meals finally did come, one was cold, 2 were missing the chicken that was ordered with the pasta and were awful. Again, one meal never came. We asked for a bill, said we did not want the last meal and informed them that 2 of the pastas were inedible. They gave excuse after excuse and even blamed our server. In the end, they charged us for the 2 pastas we ate, the salads and the pasta that was never served. They did send it home with us, but it was worse than the pasta in the restaurant. The fettuccine alfredo with chicken had four small pieces of chicken and tasted like cold milk was poured over poorly cooked pasta and had no flavor. Time to find a...

If you like New York style pizza, this is it. It is the best pizza in Petaluma! Everything in a good bite of pizza should be balanced. The sauce shouldn't overpower the cheese and vice versa. The crust-to-sauce ratio should be even, and the choice of toppings should work fine together.. The toppings are always fresh and flavorful. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time! I always order extra thin. They kick out of the park with its perfectly crispy, thin CRISP crust. I especially love their pizzas, but these last few times. My boyfriend and I have become a huge fan of their meatball and sausage penne pasta! The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

Upon entry we received it near the coldest part of the room aka by the door, but that's okay it was the smallest establishment. Food was decent for the price. Large servings; enough for take home. The bread while it maintains a appearance of firmness it was quite soft and porous which added to the crunch of the toasted bread and really tied the sandwich together. The side salad is very basic and can be made with a blindfold on as long as you know that there's lettuce tomato and some vinaigrette nearby in arms reach you can make this salad. But the Philly cheese steak was really really good. I took it home for later eating.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! We were trying to decide where to eat dinner while we visited Downtown Petaluma and parked right in front of the restaurant. We were so impressed with the home cooked meals we received, it has this welcome feeling and old fashioned atmosphere that is hard to find nowadays. We recommend it 100% and you can bet we're coming back again and bringing out acquaintances. Thank you New Yorker Pizza
