Great coffee and food. Everything tasted good. Friendly staff that were trying their best to get orders out in a timely manner. But, I would not recommend going on a Saturday morning and expect to spend less than 45 minutes just waiting. Obviously it's a very popular coffee shop and the wait for my drink seemed reasonable based on the number of people in line. However, I wish there was better communication about the time it takes to get your food. Would it be possible to have the register person remind customers before they order, that food will take extra time? That way they could make an informed decision about whether to order food or not. From the time I ordered to when I actually received my food it took 30 minutes, while the coffee was ready in 10 minutes. The other issue seems to be the online orders. It just doesn't seem like they have the staff to deal with such a high volume on a busy Saturday, and the online orders seemed to make it worse. I love Avid Coffee, but if you go on a Saturday morning around 8am, don't expect a...

Unfortunately this business is still living the in the covid dark ages and “does not serve people without masks.” A fact that was made known to us after we had been standing in line (mask-less) for about 20 mins spreading our cooties to everyone in the store. Since the workers didn’t take issue with us being in there until we got to the counter where they promptly told us they would not serve us as a punitive measure (not a safety measure, clearly, or we would have been kicked out sooner) then we chose to leave. And happily so I...
Read moreThere was a long line when I went there but the place was well staffed and it never looked like they were falling behind. The place has the en vogue minimalism you expect from a modern coffee shop, with sparsely decorated walls, bare tables, simple chairs, and just the right amount of scuff on the wood floors. There was a large communal table in the center with a number of small one or two person tables around the wall. I didn't get a close look, but I believe there were signs asking for no charging during peak hours to prevent laptop campers from keeping the seats occupied.
I enjoyed my cappuccino very much. Bonus points...
