Montagne Russe Winery and Record Lounge — Attraction in Petaluma

Randomly found this amazing spot on the Sonoma County wine page and went in for a tasting where we lucked out because Kevin, the owner and winemaker, was there! He put on some records for us, talked about the geography of where the grapes comes from and the process. He was so friendly and helpful with suggestions of other places. And the wine!!!! This was such a great stop along our wine tour! The wines were all very delicious and the owner/staff was incredibly friendly and personable. The cutest little winery dog was an added bonus. We had the best time with Whitney trying various types of Pinots. The highlight of the visit was spending time with Quinoa! We loved their 2021 Birchbark Pinot and learned that 10% of each bottle sale is donated to the BirchBark Foundation, a nonprofit that saves animals' lives during veterinary emergencies when their owners are unable to afford the necessary care.
