What a unique building and great museum for anyone interested in local history. We went in and viewed the exhibit upstairs first about how egg production was huge local industry a long time ago. Then we saw some of the exhibit on the lower floor about Vallejo. The staff were friendly and greeted us nicely. It's a cool and relaxing place to be on a warm day. I appreciated that their exhibits had diverse points of view, for example, showing a Japanese American family and their business and also showing the timeline of blacks in Petaluma. I have learned so much about the history of Petaluma here from the displays and the helpful volunteers and the Petalumans of Yesteryear.
