Pizza Al's — Restaurant in Peters Township

Uhhh this pizza was AMAZING. We decided to try all of the pizza places we laugh at on our way to Fiori's, and this was thr first we hit. Got a small pepperoni (which was pretty large,) and was SHOCKED at how good it was. I know there is a lot of great pizza in Pittsburgh, but how has no one ever mentioned this place? I will have to give it another try soon, but it's probably a top 10 for me because the crust was flavorful yet thin, the cheese was the kind that sort of congeals (sorry, I don't really know an appetizing way to describe it,) and the pepperonis were the little "grease cups" that crisp up at the edges. I now live in Charleston, and truly miss Al's. When anyone I know is traveling close, I beg and plead for them to stop and get me a large cheese pizza.

Ww discovered this place by accident when the Wendys diningroom was closed and I wanted to treat my two teens to a meal out. We ordered a large round. The staff was very friendly and brought our pizza to the table. They ask that you leave all your garbage on the table and they will take care of it for you. The pizza is thin, with no flop, and very, very good. I am a native New Yorker and not too many pizzas around Pittsburgh impress me, but this one definitely did. It was excellent.
