When I walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. I said hello to break the silence, only to be met with attitude. I was the only customer in line, yet one employee refused to serve me, where I overheard insulting remarks in Spanish. Another employee eventually prepared my food, but even then made jokes as if the situation were amusing. While the food itself was delicious, the service was shockingly unprofessional. I share this not to harm the business, but because no customer should ever experience what I did. Perhaps some employees were simply having a bad day, but that does not excuse the lack of respect or professionalism. I advise others to go at their own risk and to keep both eyes and ears open for how they are treated. My hope is that management takes this seriously, because treatment like this should never happen in any restaurant. I know the owner is likely to respond with a standard apology like, “We apologize that this was your experience with us. That is not how we train our employees to treat our customers and we strive to do better as this has been addressed with our staff.” While I appreciate the sentiment, I would like to see specific actions taken to prevent this from happening again, rather than a generic statement. The website has clear information on ordering and details when it comes to the food and delivery. At times the website does fail to load on certain pages, but you can always work around it. The first time I ordered, I got the food delivered.
