Food truck was hard to find, ducked off in the back of a business. Pulled in and the young lady was visible from window therefore we parked on the side of the food truck and walked over to window. The person was no longer visible and after about a 3-5 minute wait she serviced from the floor area, opened window and was very quiet.. no smile, no greeting...quiet. I wanted to start with an a la carte item to gage the flavors and ensure that this was what I was looking for in terms of flavor, as potential spend, looking at the prices were $80-$100. I asked about their "Nola" seasoning as it noted it was "new" and wanted to know if it was a flavor I could add to potentially anything, I.e. the corn and potatoes I had just ordered. Attendant seemed perplexed and noted that there were no samples of which I wasn't asking for anything free, so I was for sure off-put by her response. She then asked what flavor, that's what I was asking, and I said "Nola"as it was clear there was a miscommunication. Food was ok.."Nola" was old bay sprinkled on top, in a butter sauce. It was just okay for me but supporting a smaller business is important to keep them "alive" but her demeanor was less than welcoming so o decided to take my business to Krab Kingz instead, vibes there are amazing and food was gooood. Tip: There are no tables, chairs or umbrellas so take you food home or to a park to eat. The truck is also located behind a restaurant and there is garbage nearby so you definitely want to eat elsewhere.
The guy in the food truck was young, took the calls, manned the register and cooked the food - a lot of work.
They were out of Jambalaya. We ended up getting the Lonestar Special and the Lil Shrimp Combo Platter.
We were told a 15-20 min wait so walked around the tiny strip mall then waited in the car for some AC. He brought our food out to us in the car which was really nice.
Now for the food, the sweet garlic and Cajun flavor on everything was delicious. The shrimp and crab quality seemed pretty good, I picked at the crab for a while to get all the meat. Since we are at home, I use kitchen shears to help with the crab legs. The corn, potatoes and egg were also great with the butter and seasoning.
The crab was my favorite...

As soon as I got there to get the order she never opened the glass door to greet me or anything. I waited and then I informed her I was there for a pick up. She said 10 min. Then proceeded to close the window. I parked and waited. Then I went back to the window to check on order she opened window and said confirm your order with such a rude manner and plopped the food on the counter. I said yes please let me get there that’s what I need to do. She snatched the order from the counter and took it inside and I said I have an order *. She puts in back on the counter and I grabbed the order and she says “yeah” and slammed the window shut. Very poor service if that’s who you want manning your food trailer. I never heard of this food truck before it looks so good but the service horrible I wouldn’t come back for that alone! If you don’t want to work with people get a different type of job. You’re the front face of a business and that’s how you treat...
