06/24 My fiancé turned us towards this place for dinner today. I’ve been encouraging her to try food trucks for a while now and today she made the call, so I obliged!
We ordered the quesabirria special and got our 3 tacos with 1 pack of red and green salsa, each, the consome, a few wedges of lime and a few thinly cut radishes.
We also ordered 3 al pastor tacos that came with 2 salsas of each, red and green, and an order of chips and salsa!
The salsa is very thin but the flavor is spot on! It could use with a bit more kick but I can see how this recipe would appeal to the majority.
The quesabirria came with a very generous serving of carnitas tucked in with a large wad of cheese. They paired very well together as the cheese enhanced the spices/smoky flavor of the birria.
This is my first time trying birria tacos and I went in the deep end with a nice pat of red salsa for bite 1 and green for 2 followed by a dunk in the consome.
The al pastor tacos didn’t fall short. Double tortilla, as it should be, with a large portion of meat and all your fix ins like cilantro, onion and lime as well as some cubed pineapple.
I am not a fan of pineapple in any way, shape or form but, nonetheless, I wanted to try these tacos as they weren’t meant to be and, thankfully, I didn’t even taste the pineapple. I’m not sure how predominant the pineapple flavor should be but the meat itself made up for it with a robust, spicy flavor.
We will be returning here to continue making our way...

When I asked why it didn’t match the photo, the staff simply said “that’s the way they’re made.” I requested a fair refund and they got upset. I returned the taco and was treated as if I had unrealistic expectations.
This is an expensive taco for what you get and not worth $5.50. Do not waste your money on this “Ribeye Fajita Taco.”
