I visited this location last night to order 2 ice creams. We walked to this location, as we only live a block or two away. We arrived, ordered from the drive in stall, and waited at the tables placed near the building entrance. It took this location over 30 mins to make 2 small ice creams. There was no one in the parking lot except for one car. During our stay here, we began to be drained from boredom. At this point we just happened to look into the building to see what's taking them so long. We were shocked, when we found all of the employees standing around, chatting, and conducting an ice-cream social, ignoring the fact that they have a pending order. We continued to wait. Later on, we took a quick glance again, and found that a girl with PURPLE hair was making out with her male colleague. We were appalled. A few minutes later, we finally got our ice cream. On our walk back home, I was so dissatisfied and disgusted with what I saw, that I decided to call. Upon calling, the female worker that was kissing over her male colleague answered. I immediately asked for her manager. The rest of the call was as follows:
Female worker: Thank you for calling sonic, how can I help you? Me: Can I please speak to a manager? Female worker: "Ummm, for what?" Me: "I would just like to speak to a manager, mam." Female worker: Ok, give me a second. Placed on Hold* Female worker: "I'm sorry, there are no managers here right now, but I am the only authority figure, so what is the issue?" Me: Well, when I was in there, it took 30 mins to get my small order, despite the fact that there was no one in the parking lot. During my stay, I saw a female employee kissing over her male colleague. Female worker: "WELL, you CANT BLAME ME for kissing MY BOYFRIEND." Me: Actually I can, you are supposed to be working, and not doing things like this at work. But, that's besides the fact. Why did it take you guys 30 mins to make ice-cream, when there was but 1 car in your parking lot? Female worker: "Our machines were running slow." Me: Then please explain to me how you guys were able to conduct an ice-cream social and endulge on ice-cream, if your machines were running slow/not working? Female worker: SIR, we actually made that ice-cream hours ago! You cant blame me for this, this company doesn't maintain their machines very well. Me: Ok. Female worker: As well as that, we have trainees here, and they don't know what their doing. Me: Ummm.... Female worker: AND I AM VERY UPSET THAT YOU ARE ACCUSING ME OF KISSING MY BOYFRIEND. Me: Is there a manager I can talk to? Female worker: AS I SAID I AM THE ONLY AUTHORITY FIGURE HERE. THERE ARE NO MANAGERS AVAILABLE. Me: Ok, I will call tomorrow and speak to someone who can resolve this for me. Female worker: Cool.

I will just say, I am disgusted by this visit at sonic, and I will be following up with the general manager at this location, and If I feel its necessary, I will be reaching out to their corporate offices. This is not in any way how a customer should be spoken to. By the end of this conversation, its not even about the ice cream, or the wait. Its about the extremely unprofessional staff doing very unprofessional things and, on top of that, admitting it to customers.

Read moreI have been a big fan of sonic for over 30 years. Over a year ago I had gotten several milkshakes that were so thick you can’t drink it. I called corporate and tried to talk to them about it. I got a rude guy who just kept repeating what I said. I finally told him never mind. A couple of days latter I got a call from the manager of this location. They were very nice and said they would fix it. She even offered me a free milkshake. I told her several times I don’t want a free milkshake I just want to know if I order a milkshake that it will be a milkshake and not just a pile of ice cream in a cup. Nothing changed. I stopped going to sonic all together. A month ago I decided to stop at a sonic in La Grange. I received the best milkshake I have had in years. Tonight we decided to give this sonic on pecan street another try. Once again I got an unmixed ice cream in a cup. I say unmixed because only the top half was chocolate and the bottom was vanilla. They were out of onion rings. The hamburger meat was burnt so bad the outer edge could brake a tooth. This is definitely the worst location sonic has in the whole state of Texas.
Update: so we were headed to an event. This sonic is the most convenient location. We grabbed something quick while on the way to the event. We ordered 2 route 44 cherry limeades with our meal. It didn’t take long for us to notice there was something like sugar that had not dissolved in our drinks. You could feel the grit in your teeth but it does not have a sweet taste to it. We took pictures. I don’t know what it is. But we stopped drinking it. We let the ice melt and poured out the liquid. We have saved some of it just in case we need to show it to someone or have it tested. I am done with this location. We have 3 Sonic’s with in 7 miles of our house. We don’t have issues with the other 2. Maybe they just need to clean their ice machine or something but I contacted corporate and I must be dealing with a bot. They don’t seem to care about the...
Read moreI am not a big fast food person but if I need something for my children or myself sometimes Sonic at Pecan Street is the only place in Pecan street I will stop by until this faithful day that I was so dissapointed that it seems these days they do not care about customers. I stopped by on 10/8/16 to buy food for my daughter before dropping her at reherrsal. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich for myself and for my daughter popcorn chicken dinner box but instead I got crispy sandwich which I do not eat anything breaded. My order was wrong but my daughter'sorder was right. I informed the delivery lady that it is not what I ordered she said the grilled chicken will take long to make and I have already waited 20mins for the wrong order. I asked to cancel my portion of the wrong order but I was told it cannot be done that I have to return my daughter's order as well. My daughter was at the back seat and has already started eating her food. My daughter food was taken away from her and mine I already returned it to them because I did not want crispy breaded chicken sandwich. My daughter started crying because she was hungry but I told her not to worry that I will get something else for her. I was so shocked to the bone that there is no customer service that when Sonic made a mistake on the order I placed this is a way to address the issue by punishing customer especially a child for patronizing them.
