I visit this location every other week usually on a Friday but today we came on a Saturday and the service here was terrible. We waited a little over an hour, which was no big deal. When I received the text to come in, the guy at the front desk had us wait between deck 1 and the kitchen entrance. As I waited for my name to be called I notice ppl I’ve been there before were being seated. I approached the desk and ask the girl how much longer was the wait. She asked for my name and when I gave it to her she replied with attitude saying “we’ve already called you and you didn’t answer.” I reciprocated the same energy and said I’ve been standing right here the whole time I did not hear my name. Not once did any of the host walk down where we were calling any names. Once we were seated we quickly placed our orders being that we’re regulars and we usually get the same meal. Once my food came out, it was incorrect. I asked for a loaded mash, and I got a loaded, baked potato. The guy offered to fix the mistake but I just decided to leave it as is. Our waiter only checked on us once. Then I oversee the girl from the desk, who gave me attitude talking to our waiter, and she’s looking at me as if they were talking about me. A few minutes go by and we are now ready for to go boxes because the service today is not the service I usually get. Still our waiter has not come to the table. She chatting and laughing with another waiter at the computer screen where they place the orders. At this point I’m now just really irritated. When she finally comes to our table we ask for 3 to go boxes, two containers, and bread to go being that we only got one basket the whole time we were there and we had 4 ppl at our table. She came back with 2 to go boxes, 2 containers, and no bread. I asked again for some bread to go and my babygirl asked if she could fill up her styrofoam cup. She took my daughter’s cup and never brought it back. She just returned with the bread and didn’t even give us a plastic bag to put our leftovers in. I just paid the check and left no tip. We may need to find another spot to have our little family dinners or stay away from this location on Saturdays. Very disappointed in their service today. I usually have a...
Read moreThe lady’s in the hosts stand are lost and don’t know how to accordantly seat customers. Big group of us 13 were placed on a waitlist since reservation are not provided which was fine we didn’t mind waiting. when being put on the waitlist by the “big group coordinator” over the phone at 5:30pm. my phone number was put in incorrectly never received any text messages regarding the table. Called around 7:20pm to check status of table since no txt was sent to my phone. The time they told me the table would be ready quoted was 7:45 close to 8pm and told me they tried reaching out to me at 7:15ish but obviously didn’t receive anything since my phone number was put in the system wrong by the “big group coordinator” and they gave up our tables in those 5 min” supposedly”. Then proceeded to tell me they could get us a table at 8:15pm cool. we get the whole group there as requested and the table was not yet ready told us an additional 20min more. It is now 9:00pm we proceeded to see many tables get up and others get seated before us . I Walk up to the hosts stand and ask what’s going on. the manager Liz tries to put the blame on me for not receiving the txt message in the beginning and now can’t seem to squeeze us in anywhere while so many people get up and get seated before us. Like if it was my fault that I didn’t get a text message or maybe thought I was lying about not getting a texted message and made us wait even longer. I had only got 1 text message but this was right after my phone number was put in the system correctly. So I was put on the wait list at 5:30pm and didn’t get seated until 9pm. Make this make sense because it doesn’t I work in the restaurant industry and I completely understand wait lists but when you quote someone a specific time shouldn’t the table be ready at least close to the time you quote someone? Just felt like they thought we were lying and made us wait longer on purpose. Better organization and proper training up front is definitely needed all that looking at the tablet and can’t organize customers in seats accordingly. Regardless of all that our server Jackie was amazing she got us in and out fast,...
Read moreOn 9/28, we were the first party through the door right at 11 am. We had 9 people in our party and were told there wasn’t a server who had come in yet who could take a party of 9 so we needed to wait about 5 minutes for their server to show up and clock in. We were fine with that but noticed group after group continued to come in and be seated. Even so we were still patient as they were parties of 2-5 people. Then a party of 7 arrived and was seated so we started questioning why we were still waiting as it had now been 20 minutes and not the 5 minutes we were quoted. The manager and hostess immediately became defensive at us asking why a large party of 7 could be seated but not us. The manager was very abrasive and said there was no section open to seat us in. The hostess continued to mumble “oh my God” under her breath because we were apparently holding up her line by us asking. Then we were told they’d seat us at 2 tables in the bar area that were side by side and yet it was another 10 minutes before and took us asking again as to why we weren’t being seated. It seemed as if they were trying to go just slow enough so we’d give up and leave. After we finally got seated our waiter was great, so I’ll have to give him acknowledgment for his top notch service. The manager never came back out to make sure we got seated nor to apologize for any miscommunication on the delay if that’s in fact what it was. The food was mediocre this time but it wasn’t horrible; however, none of the steaks were cooked to the requested temperatures. We didn’t send back and just made do because it had already taken so long just to get in and get food. In my opinion, if you can’t seat a party of a certain size because you don’t have staff available, then be honest and up front from the get go. Put up a sign if needed and inform people as I’ve seen some other restaurants do. We would have gone somewhere else instead. When you tell the first party through the door you just need a few more minutes and then you switch up the story when the guests start questioning, it’s not good...
