First of all, if y'all haven't come to this restaurant yet, what rock have you been living under? This place is a staple in Corpus Christi and we've needed one down here since the other one closed on Ware Rd years ago {don't even get me started on that one (you know who you are)}. ANYWAYS...chili cheese dogs/fries/BURGERS, jalapeno poppers, ice creams and tons of other goodies to be tried here! I've been enjoying these chili cheeseburgers since 1997 when I was in high school in Corpus. Now that this location is kinda on my way home from work it's hard to stay away! AK has done a phenomenal job with this location in the couple of months that it's been open and I need EVERYONE to go by and try it at least once. Trust me when I say it's worth it. I know people who have driven from Harlingen to get food from here. Crystal helped me out today and she was awesome! My order was correct and all my requests for that order were on point! Stopped by for my 1st time on Saturday 12-28-24. I was so happy to see that the RGV had a Wienerschnitzel once again after our last one closed years ago in the McAllen Convention Center area. Really looking forward to enjoying their Coney dogs once again. But it seems like I will have to wait longer. I arrived about 11:20AM. Not one customer in the entire place nor was there anyone in the drive thru lane. I soon found out why. I stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes and no one came to the counter to take my order. Not even the guy that I could see in the kitchen and I could see that he saw me. And it's not as if he was busy preparing an order as I repeat, NO ONE was there. So if you want to eat at this location, I would suggest that you had better wait for a day that you have plenty of time and you are not in a hurry. If you like Wienerschnitzel, I would suggest that you try it soon, because if this visit is an indication of their service, I don't think that this location will be...
