This Outback is new to our area. The wife and I were wanting something for lunch but the choices in our little city have been less than exemplary. With this location now open we were pleased to have some new dining options. We stopped in for a quick lunch not really expecting it to be a “quick” lunch. We were seated immediately by a pleasant host staff. Our waitress promptly visited the table and took our drink and appetizer orders. So far so good. Our drinks and the bread came out within minutes. The Bloomin Onion we ordered came out soon after and it was cooked to absolute perfection. Still going good. The food came out and it was all hot and fresh and tasted as it should. I can’t review any of the deserts as we did not have room for any. From being seated to bill paid and getting up to leave it was less than an hour.
Now to the quality of service. Our server was Erin K. When I tell you she was a good server, I would be lying to you. She far exceeded good. She was fantastic. She was polite, had a wonderful smile and was very well spoken. She helped us navigate through our option for food choices. She was very attentive and always made sure she had what we needed. At the end of the meal she helped us with the pay kiosk and also got us registered for the rewards program. We were extremely impressed with her knowledge of the menu and the overall professionalism she displayed and if I could give her 6 stars, I would. We will definitely be requesting her again next time we go.
I would also like to add that on top of the excellent service we received from Erin, she had a support staff and every single member of the crew we interacted with was smiling and pleasant and aided in providing a very satisfying lunch encounter, all the way down to the manager that visited our table to make sure our visit went as expected. All of this leads to the expectation of another visit in the...
Read moreWe came last night after work for the first time. It was a little late, but we were starving. Everyone was friendly and attentive. We both ordered Ribeye and salads. First mistake was the wrong dressing...no problem it was remade right away. Second mistake was I asked for butter only on my potatoe. It came loaded with the cinnamon sugar, corrected immediately. Third was both steaks were so extremely salty, they were hard to eat. Mine was way worse than my husbands, but we didnt want to wait any longer for food. We both work upwards of 14 hours at the hospital. Then, I realized we never got our complimentary fresh bread. When I asked the server her reply was that there's a bread shortage, so only tables that ask get it. A BREAD SHORTAGE?!?! I thought I was gonna pee my pants laughing. I would have preferred honesty to the lie, because now you made yourself look dishonest and insulted my intelligence. In the end she gave us a discount and some bread to go, so I guess they over came that bread shortage. Restaurants have hiccups when they open, but these are careless mistakes I thought. I will give them another try in the future though. I believe in second chances....
Read moreThe coconut shrimp appetizer was amazing, blooming onion as always was good. It had been a while since I had been in an outback because where we used to live at the service was awful. Our main course did take a good while to get there, the steak look more like a meat patty. BTW, The Wallaby Darned really hits the spot on a hot day. Our server was really nice and kept apologizing to us for the food taking so long. I would like to say that my wife and I went in there on a Sunday after doing some home projects so we know we were a little under dress, the hostess and staff didn't care how we looked we got excellent service. Cant say the same about all the folks in the restaurant that had just left church giving us the looks. Thank you to...
