This is an old-fashioned barbecue spot with a very simple setup. Overall, the food was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. When I asked about a brisket sandwich, I was met with a bit of attitude and was told they don’t serve brisket or mac & cheese—two items I typically expect at most barbecue places. The menu is quite limited compared to other spots I've visited. The food was passable, but it wouldn’t be my go-to choice. One thing that stood out, and not in a good way, was seeing employees smoking in front of the establishment and then handling food, which made me a bit uncomfortable. While I appreciate the no-frills vibe, a few small improvements could really change the overall experience.

I honestly wouldn't give it a complete star if I could. The meat has no smoke flavor at all. The fine chopped is dry and chewy and very salty. The cole slaw taste like chopped cabbage with a knock off country's bbq sauce. The pickles don't even taste good. The baked beans taste like Walmart beans. If anyone thinks this is good bbq, then you don't know what good bbq is. The sauce has no flavor other than a lot of vinegar. The Brunswick stew taste like canned stew with little to no meat.

Some of the best BBQ around. It's definitely a hole in the wall, but that's what adds to its charm and authenticity. This place has been around since my dad was in college, so you know it's good. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

One of those real BBQ places you have to call a "BBQ joint" They focus on great pork BBQ. The sauce is mustard vinegar base but not just a watery Carolina sauce. The meat is tender. The ribs are great dry or with sauce. The sides are typical items like potato salad, BBQ slaw, Brunswick stew, and beans, but the meat is what people come back for each day. I have grown up eating here and can fully recommend this place. It's not a restaurant it's a BBQ joint. My favorite order is an old-timers plate chopped ( bite size) with an 8oz stew and sweet tea. The sandwich is a close second and ribs follow that. They have a BBQ potato and BBQ...

It was my first time going. The new woman at the front(she had to ask the other woman for help, so I assume she is new) was rude. I googled the menu and I clearly pulled up the wrong location and wasn’t sure what to order. She made a comment that the “other BBQ” places must have been busy.... I told her that I must have looked up the wrong place and apologized, she proceeded to be unprofessional and unhelpful. When my husband asked if he could grab the Brunswick stew off of our tray at the counter she snapped on him and was extremely nasty. The BBQ was grisly and not tender. Will not...
