Del Taco — Restaurant in Phenix City

I ordered tacos from the Del Taco Restaurant in Philadelphia, Mississippi, on this past Friday, January 5, 2024. I took one bite off of the taco. I had to remove that bite from my mouth. I couldn’t swallow it. It was horrible. I don’t know what kind of meat or the seasonings on the meat that were used. I thought it was ground beef, but I have never had ground beef or a taco to taste so horrible. I had been waiting to taste tacos from Del Taco since it opened in Philadelphia, Mississippi, in 2023. Last Friday was my first time tasting the tacos at the restaurant. I don’t ever want to taste tacos like that ever again. I was hoping to find a taco that tastes better than Taco Bell’s tacos, but it definitely did not happen with Del Taco. The ingredients to the tacos and seasonings do not work for me. I am hoping that Del Taco find another way to season their tacos. I can’t eat a taco that tasted like that one on Friday from Del Taco. I had to throw the tacos away that I bought. I had a bad after taste in my mouth from the tacos. I had to hurry to find gum to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Please find another recipe to season your meat for the tacos!...

I went back in there today , and the baled headed guy , says he's owner snatched a bag from me and told me I needed too ask first and than I ask for a cup holder , and he slammed it on the counter , and said don't be getting an attitude with him, and I never even spoke one word too him . . I don't think he likes women , because he wants too be one ! 🤔 this isn't the only time , normally it's the women that's Mexican, or looks Mexican that's really rude . . But nope , it'd like they don't know how too treat customers , there customer service is just plain out horrible / ridiculous 🙄 this isn't a place you wanna go and spend your money , when they treat people that this. I've never been somewhere that's just been treated just plain out awful! And than told me he was gonna call my job on me. . Like I'm a contractor , you can not just talk too people anyway . . And throw stuff at them and expect them not too say anything. Sorry but not sorry.

Normally me and my family aren’t able to eat inside del taco. When we saw that they were open inside we rushed over and got in the long line. As we get in line my husband sat down with the baby the cashier walked past all the customers to lock the door and said “everyone coming in here knowing were about to close” then locked it. Then when she walked back she said “I just cleaned that, that’s crazy” and went back to the counter and walked in the back. I can understand stress of being alone and having a line and trying to close. But one the time wasn’t on the door for anyone to know they were about to close or we would have not came inside. Two being rude about customers coming to get food for dinner with their family, shouldn’t be an issue. We decided to leave bc we do understand it’s closing time at least for the inside but coming in to that kind of atmosphere is something me and my family just aren’t interested in.
