The band ( Alex Alex with Henry y su conjunto )!who I known for so long for over 18 years is what surprised me thanks to a couple of good friends that invited me there after not being in Philly for over 12 years ; Apparently, sad to mention , the bar maids could be more responsible for their mistakes, to admit and not hide their mistakes as well inform the owner that they know nothing of the sort. For many years , I visited other establishments that the orders and billing are accurate but nothing what I experienced on this location or any location in such a long time. Although I paid what was owed but there was an extra charge that was paid previously to another bar maid that wasn’t acknowledged to anywho was responsible for their sector . Last thing , the Dj does not know how to blend or combine music on the same category without jumping a beat to another music that throws off the rhythm; as I am well-known and experienced professional Dj , the young individual needs more practice and more work on how to blend and sway music . I surely hope the owner can improve the errors / mistakes before causing embarrassment for themselves especially in front of a legendary Dj since 1990 like myself that I would not recommend especially if I stepped into the establishment in over 15 years . The band I know is great , establishment as far as the crowd is good but the service between bar maids and Dj could do some improving...

Terrible. This is actually a latin-owned restaurant trying to disguise itself as a Portuguese restaurant. Portuguese people don't eat beans and tostones.

They don't have a proper menu...they give you a paper brochure that is half ripped. We were looking through their wine list, and every bottle we asked for, they didn't have. The waitress was searching through their dusty bottles on the shelf as if she were at her home searching through her old collection. On top of it, they don't post the bottle prices, so we got charged $40 for a wine that we know normally costs $8.

The chicken was in a weird pink sauce, the shrimps tasted funky and were overcooked, and they give you a very small amount of rice. Will NEVER go back here again.

We were the only ones eating there, and the waitress would just hang out right behind us, leaning over the bar, overhearing our conversation. We could not wait to get the heck out of there. Don't waste your money. This...

The restaurant comes across as a real establishment but they have many scams built into their service. At first the waitress said cash only, the establishment had no ATM, and no ATM in the area. Then they said we can pay with a card. The bill came out with a 8% up charge with no warning or notice. When I complained about the 8% up charge they said it would be removed. When they came with the bill they tried to get me to sign it quickly with the charge still attached. Second they don’t give you a real bill. It’s scribbled on with no itemization and just a subtotal. They continually push drinks on you I’m assuming so they can rack up your bill by the end of the night, leaving you with no option but to pay. Do not Give them your ID when paying. They will use the information to deny any charges if you have a discrepancy. Go somewhere you as a customer are...

My recent visit to this restaurant was a mixed experience. The soup resembled a dish that you would find at a hospital rather than a restaurant. The grilled octopus, though flavorful, disappointed in portion size, offering only four small pieces with the salad. The pasta, on the other hand, stood out as the highlight of the meal. Despite the delicious flavors, the high prices seemed a bit much for servings they give. The service was lacking, and the lengthy wait for the food, exceeding an hour, tested my patience. A bit of remodeling and improved service could elevate this place to its full potential!

On a last minute decision we stopped by on our way back to Massachusetts and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the servings plenty and the staff exceptional.

Too long of a wait for food (30 mins or so), the waitress said they didn't have cocktails, 5 mins later a couple orders sangria 🫠, bring cash
