First of all, the food that I picked up for my son and myself was perfect. It was hot and the ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately, the customer service was horrible and something I’d never experienced in the years of supporting Bentoulli’s. I will go elsewhere in the future.
When I arrived, this afternoon, for a pickup order placed through the Slice platform, I told the lady at the counter that I was there to “pick up an order placed through Slice” and gave my name, as I always do. The lady was elderly and I didn’t realize that she didn’t understand what I meant. She seemed to be looking for the order so I said that I’d ordered a small pizza and Stromboli. At the same time, a second lady walked up to the cash register and interjected that my order was $20-something dollars and looked at me to pay. I showed her the screen on my phone and said that I’d already paid through Slice. This 2nd lady said, “Oh!”, and turned to get the boxes with my food and the drink. She then raised her voice and said, “The next time you come here, just say you’re here for pickup and don’t mention Slice because that’s confusing!” I was taken aback by her tone and a bit puzzled by her comment because that’s what I always say when I’m picking up an order placed through a platform. I explained that I “did” say that I was there for a pickup through Slice. The lady cut me off and said, “Yeah, but when you say Slice that makes it confusing, so just say pickup and nothing else.” At that point, I did take the food, turned and began walking towards the door out of the store. I was wearing an earpiece and speaking with my mother who asked me if everything was alright, since she heard so much commotion. I told her yes, and before walking out the door the 2nd lady yelled something at me that I didn’t understand. I asked her what she said and she basically repeated herself to say I should only say pickup when I’m getting my food and nothing else so it’s not confusing, but now was yelling to the point that everyone in the shop was looking at me. I told her that I already heard her the first time and she responded that she wanted to be clear because I looked upset. I’m not sure how she thought yelling across the store would improve any upset, but I told her that I was on the phone talking to someone (maybe she mistook that I was speaking to her?) and I was leaving. She looked and dismissively said, “Okay, goodbye!” To avoid escalation, I simply said, “Yeah goodbye”, and left. I don’t feel comfortable calling the store or returning to the store to speak to a manager bc I don’t want to interact with this woman again. Her attitude was aggressive, dismissive and completely unprofessional. I will not return, but really hope that someone addresses this lady’s behavior and bad attitude towards customers. Back on but 2.5 hours later I call my hubby on my way home I'm asking how the food was he's like I never got any I thought yu just didn't order I'm like what I call them. I'm furious. Lady tell me they're gonna refund me that I should have answered the door. This is a prepaid freaking order why didn't your guy just knock on my damn door. Nope supposed security issue even though I've been being food from yall for years it was a prepaid meal and still haven't even gotten my full refund 3 weeks later. I will never order food from yall again !!!! Number one it was totally unfair that my kids were left hungry after I covered it. Super irresponsible to still not have gotten my money and a lost of a customer for what cause your driver is scared??? Even though I prepaid!!!!!!! I could understand if I didn't pay, oh dang he might get robbed, the dude could have even left it on the step.
Anyway I wasn't going to even write this but these ppl still haven't given me my money and it's been three weeks. I call once per week and now everytime I call no manager, please call back tomorrow, oh he's not here .
Man w.e keep the money and keep your services cause never ever again. We're talking 56 dollars every single order for 3 years. Absolutely not anymore!!!

Read moreSo I ordered today at 8:21pm 2 cheese steaks one with fried onions and the other without onions but tomatoes and 2 cheese fries with a bottle of pepsi. I was told the food work arrive in 45 mins. Instead I get the wrong order in 55 minutes. The driver was a nice man and honest that's how you get a 1 star rating. So I call them told them what happened the lady who picked up the phone said that we can keep that food and the manager will make the right order and in 20 minutes you'll get your order for free. 25 minutes later I get the right cheese steaks but they have less meat and I got charged full price. So I literally ended up paying full price when everything was supposed to be free and waiter over 1.5 hours for my food. I'm highly disappointed with this place. I've was referred by several of your customers.

Got lied to about everything being free by the lady who picked up the phone.
