I want to stop anyone else from experiencing what I went through. I would not recommend this place; as the customer service was horrendous, wait time was ridiculous and the staff was not professional. This took my focus away from the pure joy of Valentine’s Day to stewing on one of the worst experiences of what should have been an exciting moment.
I placed an online order 7 days before Valentine’s Day in advance for the 50$ Julep Cup Boquet. After I received the order confirmation for delivery I then received a call the next day saying my order had to be canceled because they don’t deliver to my area. Of course I had to agree this was in PA I live in Jersey I couldn’t just pick them up at the time. So after browsing online I found I really grew attached to the picture of the flowers they advertised; I knew my girlfriend would love it.
So I called them back and asked to reactivate my order and I’ll come to pick it up. Was an hour drive from home to get to location (my girlfriends house they would have delivered to was a little over 40 from the store, “slightly out of their delivery range“). Upon arrival they present me with a Boquet that looks nothing like the picture and certainly one I couldn’t give to my girlfriend for her 1st Valentine’s Day. The volume and look was nothing to scale and none of the roses were open which she was getting this the next day.... I tried to reiterate to the staff how special the day was; I asked only because I had physically had to call to reactivate my order if I could just have a refund. The associate I spoke with very sympathetic who wanted to went to talk to the manager ( who wouldn’t even come and speak with me when requested). Coming back she stated that they stand by their hand written note posted to the wall that says no refund.
So In Lieu of trying to make the best of the situation I requested a bouquet. In around 15 minutes they bring it out with wilted flowers, while they threw a lot in there the quality was not there. Very similar to the first. Then my only choice was for me to pick out of the catalog a similar Boquet which I proceeded to do as I had no other choice.
After listening to disputes by the employees who worked there as they had problem with management; as well as having to listen to multiple of the coworkers make completely insensitive and inappropriate comments about me wanting the perfect Boquet for Valentine’s Day. I ended up walking out with a Boquet I wasn’t pleased with. They threw in a ballon because I had to wait over an hour for them to prepare my “3rd order”. Read moreI don’t understand how this place is still in business. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered Shari’s berries and roses through 1800 flowers for my mom on Mother’s Day. They were to be delivered to her work (notated as a business on the order) before 5pm. My moms work gets out early on Fridays but she stayed an extra TWO HOURS for a gift that was never delivered. This order was placed over a week in advance so there is no late notice excuses. I was notified that my order was delivered at 7pm Friday night. My dad and brother drove 45 minutes to her work and nothing was there. This company marked the order as delivered when it was not. My mom comes into work this Monday morning to find half dead and wilted flowers, and wet, melting strawberries thrown at the front door of her work. This order is a gift for someone extremely special and should be handled with care and hand delivered. The LEAST that could have been done was communicated the delay with me or my mom (which both of our contact numbers were listed on the order). This place is a disgrace and embarrassment and clearly takes no pride in their business. I will never again order from Shari’s berries or 1800 flowers if they are going to be partnering with shops like this one. What a horrible...
Read moreHORRIBLE! I am famous decor/event planner in Philadelphia area asked my client to put in the order for set up for Valentines Day to surprise his wife. It was a last minute order however they promote same day rush orders so I decided to give them a try.They told my client (while I was on the phone listening) that it will takes 30mins. 2 hours passed by and they were keep telling him "25mins" .. finally after 4 hours my Client went in to understand what was the hold up with the order. How about THEY NEVER STARTED THE ORDER!!! Now they rushed to do the order and it was COMPLETELY WRONG! My client went back to change the order and was given LESS ROSES & DID PRESENTATION WAS HORRIBLE!! Paid $180 for two doses of roses and only received 19 roses AND WAS WRAPPED horrible!!! I will not be coming here again and will definitely let all of my connections with event planning know.
I called them for replacement and whoever I spoke to had an attitude and kept switching the story... LIED AND SAID MY CLIENT NEVER ASKED FOR WRAPPED ROSES .. when in fact when she repeated the order to me earlier in the conversation she said put her mouth "2 dozens of roses wrapped in brown paper" .. NEED NEW EMPLOYEES! Horrible horrible service and TRUST ME I WILL LET IT...
