One of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia is Alta Cocina, run by Chef Jose Luis. They have two locations with the same name: Alta Cocina 1, which is the one my boyfriend and I always go to, and Alta Cocina 2.
I had bariatric surgery two years ago, so eating certain foods can be hard on my stomach. During my visit, I ordered the Mofongo with Garlic Shrimp and Chicharrón, and it was delicious! The mofongo was soft, and the chicharrón was chopped into very small pieces, allowing me to taste it in every bite. The shrimp were cooked to perfection.
