Angelo's Pizzeria & Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Update: Husband decided to order from there tonight. We are at a negative stars now. Was told 45 minutes ordered at 4:58(per cell phone). Food showed up at 6:15. Everything was cold, first of all. Our order wasn't made correctly. When we called we get a young punk telling us to come in and pick up ourselves if we want hotter food. Uhh what does that have to do with making the order correctly like its written on your menu? We were told we would have wait 45 to an hr for our correct order. What is wrong with these people. I am so shocked that they still are open for business. I worked in delivery and fixed problems right away didn't treat the customers like dirt.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!!! When they can get the order right the food is okay but that a "WHEN" they can get it right. After waiting 45 minutes for a delivery to find they didn't make the meal you asked for at ALL, it shouldn't take another 45 minutes of waiting and wondering where the delivery guy is. They finally showed up at the 2hrs after I ordered with the "fixed" dishes. I refused delivery and handed my other food back and wanted my money back. Owner tried cheating me out of money. If I pay extra for things I get that money back besides the price for the dish. I also am to receive tax back since you can't keep tax if I paid that too. Pathetic owners that worry more for their other shop in NJ. After 20 years this place is nothing but a walk in now but you'll still get your order wrong then too. They use to be a bigger place with a nice seating area but business has gone down hill because all you have to sit is where kids from the schools would sit. I love the noise and mess the place has now. Good luck finding a clean table or one that a delivery person isn't sitting at. Will no longer be buying from this place. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! I moved around the area right after Thanksgiving. As anyone who moves around alot knows it can be a daunting task to find a great neighborhood pizza place, as well as a place that has great restaurant quality food that can be delivered, that wont break the bank! However it can seem to be a little pricey from time to time ordering from Angelo's, that being said, To get Restaurant Quality Food, We all have them days when we don't feel like getting dressed to go out to eat, delivered, to taste just as good or even better as if you were there, but at home, is just plain awesome! Worth every penny in my book! Not as expensive as the competition in the area! That's for sure! Big Daddy's was good but not consistent in the quality of their food. Did I mention they're expensive? Lol So it is in my family' and I honest opinion that we believe that Angelos is the Best Place for both the Pizza Shop & Restaurant style quality meals! So if your debating where to go, then go here! Once you've decided, you might be debating what to get? I think we have tried almost the whole menu and loved it all! We are especially fond of their Pizza, Angelo's fries, cheese steaks, my personal favorite chesse steak hogie. If you're in the mood for more homestyle meals then I would try their chicken marsala, chicken/veal francese, chicken parmesan, Spehgetti & Meat Balls, if you have little ones like me and their salads with grilled chicken are amazing! I have yet to receive my order, but I was placing a large catering order for my business and was very impressed by the service. There was a discrepancy in my order, 3 out of the 10 items I ordered did not come through when I went to check out, and Angelo's and Slice, the third-party delivery service, worked diligently with me to resolve this issue. Given a third party is involved for the delivery, this could have been a very frustrating situation! When I called Angelo's to get a verbal confirmation of my changes, Kristen was patient, considerate, and thorough. She made sure my issue was resolved and well taken care of so I could rest assured that everything would arrive as it should and at the cost that it should for my business. I am very grateful for her service and diligence and I hope she is recognized. As someone who has worked in food and retail before, it can be hard and thankless so I truly commend those who can power through and offer consistent, quality service to everyone.
