Food was amazing!!!! I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi rice (spicy or add hot). The food was excellent! However my food wasn’t spicy at all., My steak was overcooked, it was a little too tough. I guess their standard is well done, I prefer medium or even medium well. The wait was extremely bad. I understand they make the food fresh so I can’t complain too much over the wait; but what I will complain about is the price. My husband paid $50 for one platter. I will say they gave a lot and the shrimp were extremely HUGE, so that was beautiful. However that price was not. For $50 I want the full service and not take out from a truck. I’ve never seen a food truck charge so much for one platter. Just the other day my hubby and I went to Texas Roadhouse and got two separate dinners I got a 23oz T-bone porterhouse steak with 2 additional sides, my husband got ribs and chicken tenders with 2 additional sides and we got drinks with the free rolls and peanuts all of that came to $62. Granted b boy ain’t the roadhouse but dang them prices are off the chain at b boy. Again the food is good but that’s not a spot I can hit up twice a week due to the prices. B boy lucky if I can hit them up 2X a month. If prices were cheaper they would definitely make way more money off of me because I would definitely hit them up at least 2-3 times a week. Food is all that but the price is diabolical especially because it’s from a truck and you not getting the service that normal restaurants would charge for that price. I would love to support more often because I want to support my folks and simply because the food is the bomb.com, but until B-boy slim down on them prices, give out promo codes, or coupons, provide better service and or decrease the wait time, or even change the atmosphere and scenery because their prices ain’t matching where I’m picking my food up from, I just can’t. It’s hard out here for a……. B boy should throw in a deal if folks spend over a certain amount, or just give a juice, dessert or something small for free to make folks want to keep coming back. I will say after all this stuff I said I’ll be back not sure when though (if the price was right would come back sooner) but please believe...
Read moreI’ve been waiting to get here, we went before and everything we wanted was sold out by the time we got there around 6pm so we didn’t purchase anything & today it was the same news, this time we ordered when they opened. This was my friend’s second run tho! They opened at 12pm today we ordered online by the time we were about to check out everything we wanted was sold out by 11:40am so we had to change our entire order. We ended up getting the fried crab balls that comes with seasoned fries (fries were nice and crispy, the crab balls weren’t my fave, the crab was the only thing I could taste which is a good thing but I would’ve loved to taste the cooper cheese, peppers and the seasonings; it also came with a homemade cocktail sauce (that I don’t eat but still tried which was your average cocktail sauce & a watery cheese sauce that I wasn’t a fan of) the shrimp scampi fried rice (the shrimp were big & kinda tough , the rice itself was flavorful and dry at the same time, it was missing scampi sauce and cheese to boosts its heights…ps add scampi sauce on the side once packed), we got cheese fries (we didn’t get a chance to enjoy them because the cheese were at the bottom instead of on top we flipped them over but still weren’t able to really get into them & the peach cobbler banana pudding ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 was our favorite! All in all with the taxes and fees with ordering online he paid $97 and Our order was done at the time printed after checkout, I recommend ordering Online! I posted before and after pics & vids. Everyone’s tastebuds are different so Go for your own experience! 5/10 but that peach cobbler banana pudding gets an 8 we could’ve did without some of them bananas, but them wafers gon do it...
Read moreOrdered the crab balls and fries. 6, healthy jawns. It was good and had plenty of lump crab meat, fried nicely. So the food was overall good. Price was fair. Now, the service from the female light-skin cook was unprofessional. My order, all oil work nothing off the the grill, I watched her drop them & they was done in about 10 minutes but it took an HOUR for Crab balls & fries. No drink, no dessert, nothing else. The cook was so busy talking about everything but what she was getting paid to do at that moment and forgot I ordered until I came back to the food truck. That's when she seen me & realized she Forgot and then dropped my food. Please train your workers to do less gossiping about a whole bunch of Nothing and that will improve your efficiency with those orders. She knew she was wrong and granted we all make mistakes but she forgot because she was more focused on her personal conversation about Other People's Business. Gossip should be reserved for breaks or down town but not over my meal and certainly not while there are a line of tickets in front of you & your servicing four different platforms. I was excited to get the food as this was my first order but that was really aggravating. On top of all those flies flying around in the front of the food truck really didn't make...
