My son-in-law Sam and I were on a bucket-list journey from Lubbock, Texas, and Big Charlieās turned out to be one of the highlights. As the home of Patrick Mahomes and Texas Tech pride, the bar radiates energy and love for the game. But beyond that, itās the warmth of the people that makes it unforgettable. They denied us entry after noticing we were fans of the opposing team. Literally, they kicked us out and locked the door behind us. They also denied entry to some Eagles fans behind us as well. Regardless, our friend said the food was sub par. Not a way to run a business... We ended up at Smith's where everyone was welcome and both teams displayed friendly sportsmanship. Charley's should take some lessons on how to run a business. Oh, and by the way the Patriots won...
