Billy Doc's — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Went to Billy Doc‘s diner for the first time the other day with a bunch of friends had the soup crab and lobster bisque it was absolutely delicious not only was the food really really good but the atmosphere was awesome small town feel all the servers and workers there were very friendly outside liverwurst and onion sandwich it was delicious one of my friends there had a chicken Caesar salad he said it was awesome one of the best he’s ever had.

I’ve eaten a lot of local diners this one had the small town feel food was great prices were reasonable staff was extremely friendly and was clean highly recommend eating at Billy Doc‘s diner I will definitely be going back in the future

I even took a few pictures while I was there I took a 360 panorama picture from out front again this place is really good it’s very highly recommended can’t wait to take my family back there try something else on the menu

I don’t know what happened to this place over the last few months but I used to love coming here with my coworkers. Everything seems to be going downhill there these days. All the girls that work there now are immature and have attitudes. Especially the snobby red head girl but that’s nothing new with her. EVERYTIME I go in there my total is different. Yet one can explain why, including the owner. For example I went in there last week on Wednesday grabbed some takeout, then I came back this week, got the same exact thing and paid about 2 or 3 dollars more. Its happened several times. It’s ashame that a place I used to enjoy going to for both the food and the service is now filled with counter girls with bad attitudes and mediocre food. Sadly everyone in my office feels the same way so we will definitely be taking our lunch business elsewhere from now on. I’m sure we’re not the only ones who feel this way so hopefully things gets sorted out over there...

In all the times I have been there I have taken at least 15 different people to this place and have always said good things and this was my favorite spot until today. I got there with a construction worker who I was also telling about the place and we sat and did not have anyone come over to us or greet us as if we weren't there. It was not busy and both waitresses were doing nothing behind the counter but talking with customers who had already been eating their food. I then waited for the older woman to finish her conversation and as I went over she picked up her phone and I asked if anyone was still waiting or not in a very polite tone. She told me "I'll be right over right after I send this message" this was not laziness. This was just plain ignorance and it was intentional loud and clear as if we were not welcomed there after all the previous meals I've had there before. I will never go...
