China Rainbow Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I have been ordering from China Rainbow for a few years now because the food is pretty good compared to other Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. With that being said, the negatives now outweigh the positives: My number one complaint is the 'hidden fees' that they are imposing on deliveries. On top of the $3 delivery fee that they charge, they now add-on what they call a "non-cash adjustment" when you pay with a credit card instead of paying with cash. When I order online through their app, they give a final total - but then they decide to put a different 'base price total' on your receipt when you receive the food, and THEN add the non-cash adjustment. After all is said and done (fees, taxes, delivery) my $20 food order becomes $30 and then I give a cash tip on top of that! Needless to say, because of the dishonesty, I will no longer be ordering from...

Their food used to be okay the last few years, not sure what happened since then. Bought 2 chicken wing platters with fried rice and the rice was very hard and uncooked for both platters. Decided to throw the platter way and find something else to eat. Came here today to get a chicken wing platter with cheese fries, had to go back because they put ketchup on my wings after I told them not to. When they gave the platter back, they gave me the same old wings with KETCHUP on them. When I tried the cheese on the fries it tasted like the cheese went bad and it was not yellow, it was almost white and watered down, I went back to see if they could remake the food and they just threw my money back at me and took the platter. So on July 27th around 5pm I ordered me and my son general tso chicken platers from this establishment and when we ate the chicken it was a bit rubberish like if it been reheated in the microwave so I only continued to eat some that was ok and just ate the rice. At around 630 am July 28 I woke up with severe stomach pains and was on the toilet with diarrhea and throwing up at the same time. Must of of got food poisoning from this food. I called the restaurant to let them be aware that after consuming the food I have got sick and the lady only offered to remake food smh no I don’t want to eat food that will get me sick again I just want to let you know not to serve your bad food and get more...
