Chiquita's Pizzeria & Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Philadelphia

We ordered 3 different personal pizzas, fries and dry rub chicken in an attempt to decide whether this was place was worth ordering from again or not. Needless to say, the food did not disappoint at all! Everything was delicious. The crust was hot and airy with a nice crunch. They didn’t skimp on any of the toppings, so these pizzas are LOADED. If you’re a Ninja Turtles fan and drooled over that cheese pull, this place will definitely give you that ninja turtle cheese pull. I ordered the al pastor pizza, que rico, and the fajita pizza. I’ve always been afraid to order pizza with beef topping because most places use cheap beef shavings. But here, you get nice bites of steak cubes. The al pastor was one of the best I’ve had; juicy and not under seasoned, the pineapples were a great pairing. The que rico pizza hit the spot for that taco craving. The cayenne fries and Mexican dry rub chicken has a little kick to it. Their chicken is fried hard, so it had a nice crunch. This is our go-to delivery spot! The food is just SO good and the delivery is always quick and hot. There’s actually been a couple times when we ordered from other places and they never came, so we just ordered from Chiquita’s instead - they’re super reliable. We love the nachos, the grilled wings, the burritos, the pizza - it’s all good. We normally get the Mexican-style pizzas (they’re amazing), but we tried the margarita pizza for the first time recently, right after trying a famous Philly old school Italian pizza place - Chiquita’s is better. The only thing that would make me love them any more is if they offered vegan or dairy-free options, especially nachos - I’m lactose intolerant, but honestly the stomachache is worth it for these nachos. This place beats any pizza and Mexican food joint we’ve EVER had, hands down!!!!! We came by recommendation from the JLJupiter restaurant review from Northern, VA! We thought JLJupiter and friend may have been over emphasizing the goodness they experienced with the Mmmmm.. so good…game changer comments……BUT oh HOW THEY WERE SOOO RIGHT!!!!! This food is incredible!!! My only regrets are that I couldn’t try EVERYTHING ON THE MENU AND THAT THEY ARE NOT IN MY AREA! Your food has so much appeal, just from the appearance, but then the flavor and taste will excite your pallet!!
