Danny's Wok — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Bought the same exact thing but large, I will stick to the wings. Tofu Homestyle! Don't play me by adding smaller pieces of tofu that were flat instead of the big slices I had last Friday in the smaller size. You need not ever be skimpy on tofu if you DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH you don't serve or make the dish. The portions and taste were terrible. The tofu taste like it had been sitting in the back of the fridge somewhere. That tofu was not fresh and I won't be ordering anything again. I just started going back and I don't know which cook made this dish but the sauce also taste different and so did those vegetables. We know you not used to serving Black folk all vegetables apparently and probably was surprised I ordered a large as well. I can save my money or go to Chinatown and take my chances there. And one of my Peoples started breaking out and the only thing they could think of was a bunch of MSG and it sent two of us to the bathroom. NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN LAST FRIDAY. So whatever they who what did damn! We are all F'd up. Did I not take heed to my previous review. Thank you and have a nice day but no thanks☹️ I'm going to be cooking my own food unless it is a steak. --H This one below was two years ago. Trying their wings...Good as usual now Lo Mein looked like who knows what is in it. Very sloppy like too much thrown in scraps for vegetables. Finely chopped mushrooms, two pieces of broccoli, baby corn, pieces of shredded lertuce or some light green leafy vegetable, pieces of bean sprouts. Very poorly made and the fact that the cashiers iare very conscientious about orders what people don't want. I actually heard someone say, I kid you not, Fried rice NO VEGETABLES. What the hell! .So if people are getting their dishes specifically made to order where are the vegetables going that are not used. Must be put in their own food because mine looked like i said. Need to keep the same cooks. Food has gone way down since they first opened. Can't be off and on...too many other places like where I was the other day. I also reviewed. Night and day compared to this place. So will not be going back. Those two guys up front taking orders are the best but look like they need a break. Can't work people to death now. Stop being cheap! Three restaurants there is enough money to hire more folk and retain good...

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I have never been to a Chinese restaurant, in which you were able to openly see the entire kitchen. Not to mention, that the staff moves like a well-oiled machine. Everyone has a particular station and moves efficiently. The floor in both the kitchen and dining area, are exceptionally clean. Down to the proverbial "you can eat off the floor" feel. Yesterday, was my first experience with this restaurant and I would suggest it to anyone who has a love for Chinese-American Cuisine. Finally and not the least to mention, the food taste fresh and not heavily saturated with any oils. I would rate this restaurant higher, but it is obviously only five-star max that is allowed. I am looking forward to having more take out...

They usually are ok but last night we ordered 70 wing dings..most of all of them were old reheated wings.. we came in about 10.pm before closing but didn't think they would give us old reheated wings.. called this morning to tell them about it and they basically told.me oh well.. trying to say it was fresh and nothing fresh about it.. I always go here and know what fresh wings are.. I guess because it was a big order they try to justify it.. so don't order a pan of wing dings before closing I learned .. manager did not want to try to resolve the issue.. so basically money lost..will contact...
