Hi all! I do not writing reviews honestly. I am someone who have honing my skills within the Hospitality industry for 15+ years. I have dined at many places, and I love trying to new pizza places and those with a Mexican influence.
I always wanted to try this place out, and after most of the reviews; I decided to check them out tonight.
I am a huge Chicken Tinga fan, so I ordered their Chicken Tinga Quesadilla. Very bad decision on my part...
When I got home, the first thing I noticed how wet my quesadillas was. It was as if it drenched in consommé- like as I ordered Birria Quesadillas. Like I dropped my quesadillas in a massive puddle. I thought to myself, "okay. No big deal. I am still excited to try this."
As soon I bit into it, I immediately tasted a mouthful of salt. I mean it was completely inedible. I had to drink almost a half gallon of water to get the taste out. I could not believe the level of salt this thing had. So, not only my was "Birria Quesadillas" was completely wet, it was inedibly salty, I could not even enjoy the fries it came with because they also were swimming in a pool full liquid. The Quesadilla itself was also a bit skimpy as well. There were barely any cheese in it.
I was very disappointed. I mean, it was only $15; but it was my $15 and I was hungry tonight. I almost kinda want my money back. That's how bad that Chicken Tinga Quesadilla was.
I am all for repping small businesses- especially pizza spot because I worked in several of them. I love pizzas and Mexican foods.
Who knows, I might check them out again because their menu although very high and costly, seem pretty promising. Everyone have bad nights. I would suggest you all consider the salt intake in your proteins, and please do not serve wet quesadillas unless specified on the menu. I have made plenty of them in my life and they are not drenched in liquid. Maybe too much cheese will cause it become soft, but never drenched in liquid or consommé or the juices from the protein or whatever it was tonight.
I wanted that Chicken Tinga Quesadilla too!
Have a...
Read moreFirst of all, let me start by saying I don’t like leaving negative comments or reviews, but the first thing that I probably dislike the most about this place is the children running around the kitchen where the cook was making my burrito. it’s not sanitary or healthy for them to be playing around in the kitchen and eating mozzarella cheese off the chef’s table where he was preparing my food. one of the little girls climbed up to the register counter, which was dangerous cause she could’ve fell off the stool and hurt herself and they just let them do it…
On top of that, I went here because I wanted a burrito beings though live in California. I got here and got the menu and saw the price for a California burrito which showed $1199 but then the guy that worked there told me that the price may be different from the menu. I thought that was odd because why don’t you have an updated menu, and then charge $15 and said oh because of taxes ; What!!!
Besides all of that the burrito was...
