Where do I start I’ve lived in a lot of luxury apartments and by far this has been the worse experience I WOULDN’T recommend anyone to live here this is my first time ever writing a review for any business , for starters there is no leasing office they use apartments which is ridiculous because only time you’ll ever see management is when your moving in & getting your money took they never answer phones or return calls! The property is poorly built my walls were leaking & cracked the first month of me moving in . They have mice not to mention they allow air bnb guest which is a safety hazard to tenants they don’t care people have made multiple complaints but this company is so money hungry there are all different kinds of ppl in & out the building eveyday they won’t make any adjustments because they don’t care had I known about the air bnb I would have never moved in! They have different fake security everyday different ages & different people that does absolutely nothing they are just for show ! I have seen 5-6 different property managers in a year the retention is horrible that right there tells you a lot about this company . You’ll never have a parking spot doesn’t matter if you pay or not people will park it in & you’ll be left to find parking on the street . Please be aware there is a day care down stairs so the building will have even more traffic , packages are constantly stolen the hallways and building is never cleaned not to mention the trash is always over flowing in the building! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT NO STRUCTURE ,UNORGANIZED ALL...
Read moreI lived here for two years after signing a two year lease and would not recommend.
The apartments are beautiful and spacious. However, for a new apartment building, there are many issues (air conditioning, leaks in the ceilings in units and common areas, constant fire alarms going off etc). All of these issues are magnified by the fact that in the past two years of us living there, they have been more than 4 different property managers and more than 5 different maintenance technicians. The turnover of staff makes any issue a logistical nightmare. This is not a problem that is easily solved with new staff within management, maintenance, etc, but rather indicates a problem higher up within Hightop Real Estate and Development as a company.
We went more than a year without our AC getting fixed, putting our dog in danger on days that were 90 degrees outside. We were charged a $250 cleaning fee (as were many other tenants) on move out despite cleaning our apartment. There is no way to enter the building in case the elevators are down (which has been a problem when the fire alarms go off) because they do not provide a code to the staircase. The list of problems could go on. Needless to say, I would stay away from this building and any other Hightop Property. Be cautious and if possible, reach out to other tenants as they all have many...
Read moreLandscaping hasn’t been maintained in the year that I have been here. All the plants in the outdoor common areas are mostly dead. There was a waiting list for parking spots but that somehow got pushed aside in preference to giving parking to new residents. Not much noise transfer between apartments but the door from the hallway into the apartment are thin and have large gaps between the door and the floor allowing lots of noise in and out. Water color in the gym has been not working since I moved in and the cleaning wipes are always empty. Not very luxurious for a building that markets itself as...
