UPDATE: We have roaches now, apparently. Disgusting and unacceptable.
UPDATE: The knob in my shower has fallen off and the plate has come out from the wall. I put in a request— maintenance called once from an unknown number & without a voicemail so I could not even call them back to give them permission to go in and fix it. There is no wifi in the community areas as advertised, again.
UPDATE: Things are still pretty bleak and in addition, I feel like I am experiencing retaliation from James for the review that I have left. He no longer responds to my emails, most recently as they pertain to property damage incurred by maintenance as well as safety. I asked back in January that maintenance please clean up after themselves when they finish and to please not use my things. Mike, the usual or potentially former? maintenance guy was great because he would let you know when he was coming so you could be prepared. The guys who most recently came in not only did not remove the scuffs they created on the floor, but they also attempted to enter my home while I was changing (because they did not hear me the first two times I yelled “just a moment” apparently). As a single woman, living here under the management of an unprofessional and petty man makes it feel unsafe. I am not the only woman on the property who have been feeling this way. APG needs a new property manager ASAP before someone files a lawsuit.

Have you ever heard the saying, “All that glitters is not gold”? Well, that is this place. I have held off on making this review for as long as possible but after the hot water going out in the washing machine this evening I have honestly just had it.
Within the first two months of me living here (I have been here less than 3 full months) I have experienced the following issues:
-water heater going out twice -water heater then leaking and creating a waterfall in my closet causing paint to melt all over my clothes a puddle on my floor -the caulking in the shower peeling the first day which no doubt will lead to mold -the actual shower floor itself chipping -the unit being caked in dirt, dust, and debris upon move-in -issues getting Wi-Fi from a provider in my unit due to issue with a cord? -wifi in the community areas does not work (though the assistant property manager was quite kind and said they would be working on it) -occasional scuttling in the walls under the window sill And more…
It is so incredibly frustrating because I was SO excited to live here and love the way my unit looks aesthetically but it seems like there is something wrong with this place every week. It has become exhausting.
I will say the maintenance man is extremely kind, he gets to everything in a timely manner, and does good work. However, some of the paint has come out a splotchy and I dread the outcome of the closet which now has water staining.
I tried talking to the new property manager, James, about everything and to be quite frank, he was a tool. His responses were curt. You can tell that he does not give a fluff and as a matter of fact he did not even bother to respond to my last email.
Tyrell, original property manager, was great! He was kind, attentive, and helpful. I wish he was around to help.

Read moreI’ve been overwhelmingly impressed by every facet of my experience at Herringbone Lofts. From my very first inquiry to my move in and now as a tenant Tyrell has been accommodating, responsive and communicative. He treats all of us with the utmost care and courtesy but more than that it’s very much a community-like culture that he has established and nurtured. The building itself is an absolute pleasure to behold. The decor is superb and it looks and smells immaculate. From the moment you step into the building you are greeted through an automatic sliding door into a huge elegant lobby with more than enough seats and lounging space. My favorite feature being the Nespresso coffee machine available to all tenants with different flavored pods included for our enjoyment. The fifth floor houses another lounging area with big tables and a smart tv, and a view of Philly that can’t be beat. But my favorite room on the fifth floor being the gym. With an all black sleek look, full assortment of dumbbells, running machines, cable machine with pull up station and more, it’s the place I spend the most time in other than my actual apartment. I can keep going about how much I love calling this place my home but just do yourself a solid and experience it...
Read moreI moved in this property just shy of a year ago and up until recently have had a pretty decent experience. I thoroughly enjoy my apartment though having minor issues with the new construction (loose sink, loose toilet, broken dishwasher, noise above my head from common area 5th floor) my city views are immaculate. I moved here prior to the building being completed when it was only about 5 other tenants. As a result, I was not able to use the one amenity (the gym) until the end of last summer. Once the gym was complete I found it to be a nice addition. The previous two property managers Tyrell and Krista were also very pleasant and quick to address any questions or concerns. Krista made my move-in seamless. Tyrell who came shortly after was awesome. He was very personable and welcoming to everyone entering...
