El Bochinche Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I am not one to leave negative reviews about a restaurant's food or service, but I feel extremely disappointed by tonights order I received from Uber eats and El Bochinche. The more upsetting part is that just this Wednesday I ordered with a friend (Who'd never eaten columbian before) and it was a fantastic meal!

I ordered the chicharon - I got one piece of over burnt and miserable looking piece of chicaron

I ordered the sausage - It was plain, with no flavor (making me wonder if it was microwaved)

I ordered chicken empanadas - there was no chicken, the empanadas were burned, and the breading was thick like a piece of bred

I ordered a portion of avocado (which I paid $3 for) and got a quarter of a SMALL avocado, literally two tiny slices

I ordered the Yuca Frita - this was definitely microwaved, as the entire side was bland (no salt no seasoning) and had zeeeero crunch to it. Should just be called steamed yuca

I ordered beef empanadas and they were all burned.

The service is tragic! Slow and completely lacking in accountability. But if you're a man, the waitress are drastically more friendly, especially if you're a Colombian man. But since I'm neither Colombian nor Male, so horrendous customer service it is. They do have great prices. They have a beer bucket happy hour from 5 to7pm on week days that includes 6 Beers for $12. The Colombian food platters are decent and affordable with good prices. However I've had the tacos from the Mexican menu. It was NOT at all impressed. Mushy and soggy tacos with real cheese vs crema. I would've done better going to the gas station up the street and licking the toilet bowl for sustenance. Everything. And I do mean everything was disgusting. Chicken Empanadas - Under cooked. Beef Empanadas - Dry and disgusting. Maduros w/ cheeze - disgusting. Since when do Mexicans put moxzzarella cheese on maduros!! Always goat cheese. ALWAYS. Al pastor tacos - dry, disgusting, not a pineapple in sight. Beef burrito - dry, disgusting, overcooked rice, chunks of bleu cheese. Chicken quesadila - BIG PIECES OF BONE, grisle, bland, disgusting. This is NOT authentic mexican food. There's got to be a John Smith in that kitchen. Not a damned Jose Santos! Absolutely Terrible.
