Euphoria's Baked Goods — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I was excited to try goods from this bakery seeing the glowing reviews. However, my experience was not the best.

The entire experience was woefully unprofessional, expect all communication to be handled via text or imessages.

I placed an order at the tail-end of last week, and received ZERO communication until Tuesday of the following week. Not even an “out of office” email. After waiting in limbo for a few days, a text message came from the owner or associate claiming that they did not see my order request because they were apparently away on vacation. Fair enough, I said it wasn’t an issue and asked about next steps.

I was next notified on Wednesday afternoon that my order was ready. However, they wanted to bring the order when I was not at home and was out buying groceries. I explained this to them and received no answer???

I, again, contacted Euphoria the following day (Thursday, nearly a week since placing order) to arrange a way to complete/ receive my order. Euphoria’s response: ask my apartment number and inform me that the delivery was already on its way, without even waiting for my response to let them know that I was not at home?? It was around 3pm on a Thursday, yet I was expected to be home for a delivery IMMEDIATELY upon asking about receiving my order.

People are not usually home at 3 in the afternoon. I asked if I could either pick up my order or push the delivery time back to 5pm (when most people are home from classes and work). Euphoria’s response: the owner or associate imessaged me to say that they were canceling my entire order, refused to provide a reason as to why, AND ignored my last couple of messages asking why this was their response. Very unfortunate.

This is not how you conduct business with patrons attempting to reach a mutually acceptable solution. ZERO compassion or consideration to be found. Whoever is running this company needs to learn patience, kindness, and PROFESSIONALISM.

Wow! Euphoric Bakehouse really went above and beyond my expectations. I sent 5 different orders to families in the surrounding areas of Columbus. The cookies were delivered in a very timely manner, in lovely gift bags and boxes with a nice hand written thank you card. I heard such positive feedback about everything and the cookies were incredible!! The owner was in contact with me to let me know when the cookies would be delivered and was so nice to work with. The website is super easy to order from too. I am so thankful for this small business and I will definitely use them...

The chocolate chip cookies perfectly balance chewy/crunchy and cookie/morsels. Also true for the brownies (cake/walnuts). The pecan pie with a "just right" sweet filling, a firm yet crumbly crust and a crown of pecans makes each bite ooey gooey good. I'll be going...
