NEVER PLACE AN ORDER FOR DELIVERY
I called to place an order at 9:38pm, it’s 11am and still NO FOOD....here’s why, keep in mind this is my first time calling for delivery.😒
I place my order at 9:38pm with specific instructions to call during arrival or knock on my window. At 10:19pm I hear a car horn beeping outside. By the time I went to the window the car was pulling off. At 10:20, I called the Explorers Den and asked if the car that was in-fact my delivery person. I was told by *Miriam that, they delivery driver do beep the horn but actually calls. I asked if she knows the status of the order she tells me no but my order should be on it’s way. I ask if she call call him which she said she would after hanging up on me. At 10:35, still NO FOOD, I called again and ask what was the drivers response. She then stated that I gave them the wrong number and that was him beeping his horn. I gave her again after repeating it 4 times. Apparently he was scared to deliver at night because it was dark....(question: what’s the point of delivery if you have to come to the car?) By 10:46 STILL NO FOOD! I called again and stated that it’s been 85min and I would like to cancel my order. Miriam without any apology stated that the deliver was coming (keep in mind, I’m only 3-4 minutes away). She became even more disrespectful after I ask to speak to the manager, annoyed her response was “she ain’t here”, so I ask for the owner “he ain’t here, he’ll be here in the morning” I ask for her name which she give to me but I also ask if they don’t offer apologies for any inconvenience that has caused me. She said “from who, me? You’ll get that from the driver” I said “a general apology from you” I guess she didn’t take classes on professionalism or she failed terribly because I don’t get any sense from her at all. At the point of our last conversation I stated again that my ordered delivery was canceled. At 10:56, I got a called saying “come outside” , i was trying to tell him the I canceled my order 10mins, when I went to the door he was still taking my food out the car telling me to come to him, which I did. I told him again that I already called and canceled my order with Miriam 10 mins prior and he then told me that he didn’t receive a call.....still no apology for any inconvenience from the delivery person.
I won’t be ordering there anytime soon. I have to teach my son that it is NOT OKAY, to support any business that...
Read moreThe young girls that answers the phone is very rude. I ordered a cornbeef with swiss cheese on rye and when my order arrived...it was the most tasteless cornbeef I have ever had in my life. It had NO TASTE which is odd for CORNBEEF. I called and told them how much I normally enjoyed their food and how I was disappointed with the tasteless meat. The girl was so unprofessional...you would have thought she personally went hunting with a bow and arrow...caught the animal with her bare hands & processed the meat itself. I kept telling her not to take it personal..just let the manager know that he needs to get better quality meat. I stopped ordering from them for a while due to her attitude which was over the top.
I waited for a couple of months before I ordered again because I like their cheese steaks then. Well, I noticed that ever since that encounter, it took longer for my food to be delivered. I am just around the corner from them..and it used to take 15 minutes now it was taking an hour. I recently ordered my food and after an hour... I called to find out why the delay but the young girl that answers the phone kept hanging up on me...after experiencing several hangup calls, she finally answered...I told her that I kept trying to call about my order but I kept getting hang up on....I told her at this point...I want to cancel my order. She became upset and then said don't ever order from them again...now remind you...she was the one that picked the phone up and slammed it down several times before she finally answered....I then told her I had no intention of ordering from them again for the menu is already in the trash. Read moreI ordered for pick up last night, and the two black ladies were very rude. One of them sounded tired, and they kept talking about how they couldn't wait to leave and how they can't wait to have off Thursdays, just gossiping. When I arrived, my food wasn't ready, and my wife and I weren't greeted as we walked in; instead, we were given mean looks the whole time. When the lady told me the food wasn't ready, I asked how long it would take. She repeated the price of 23.80 five times. I asked again how long it would be, and she finally said 5 minutes. So, we went to the car for a second, came back, and waited 15 minutes standing. When we sat down, in there they forgot what we order. They put our pizza down 5 minutes ago, and the wings were already ready. Then, they had the nerve to get aggressive and ask what we ordered. I told them the pizza and mild boneless wings, and they started wrapping up the wings that had been sitting there and slapped the pizza on the counter, which looked slightly open. You will never get my money again. I never experienced this kind of service from these two when they worked there years ago, nor have I ever seen customer...
