The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Miraculous Medal is a hidden gem in Philadelphia for Catholics. It's huge and nothing like the original shrine in Paris, but it's just as beautiful and serene.
When I visited, there was construction and renovation work happening, but it didn’t take away from the experience. If anything, it gave me hope that these efforts will help preserve the beauty of the shrine and make it even more special.

It was beautiful. It’s a bummer that the gift shop isn’t open on the weekends, so visitors from far will lose out on purchasing souvenirs and holy paraphernalia. Overall, a MUST visit catholic church...
