Lincoln Chicken & Burger — Restaurant in Philadelphia

ALERT! PRICE FRAUD! ALERT! This restaurant commits price fraud. They will ring up your transaction and then add on an extra amount and charge you for it. They will not give you a receipt and then when you go to request a refund, they won't give it to you!

I ordered 3 items from their menu which should have come to around $17-18 (including tax.) I used a credit card and when he rang up my transaction. The employee did not give me a total or a receipt. I then asked for a receipt and a menu. He gave me the credit card transaction receipt and not the store receipt which itemizes the purchase. The total read $27.15 (almost $10 over what I had paid for!) Before I could question him, he hurriedly took the order of the person in line behind me. He tried to commit fraud with them too. They were paying cash and got into an argument because they were also being overcharged. Then the next person in line complained about being overcharged too.

Finally, I was able to speak with him and he said the menu was 15 years old and the prices had changed. (Why and how would I restaurant have 15-year-old menus? And why would they give them out?) I then added up the prices of the items I had ordered, using the prices on the display board and used my phones calculator in front of him to show that he had overcharged me. When he was caught in a lie, he refused to give me a refund. After some back and forth arguing, I stated I would dispute the transaction with my credit card company. He said go ahead, so I did.

My advice: avoid this place but if you must go there, bring a calculator. Add up the things you purchase in front of the employee and then if you pay with cash give them exact change. Pay with a debit or credit card instead and be ready to dispute the transaction...

The food arrived by grubhub estimated time was moved up by 15mins. Entire order was room temperature. The collard greens and one order of fries were missing. The six piece chicken wings and fries looked like the chicken had been frozen more than once. The meat and bone were black; and chicken wing had quill feather on it. Chicken salty most over cooked dry and greasy! The five piece mixed only had one piece of white that was the dried out wing with missing tip. I called the store and the manager acted like he could not hear me or understand the problem. Then finally said sorry about the missing item, I will talk to my worker. But he never addressed the food quality.... nasty! I immediately called grubhub and reported it and waiting on my refund. The price of the food has already gone up so much and the fees attached to the grubhub...makes you want to holler! Had to ad this my mother said don't go...

First time ordering. I used Seamless. It was late. I was visiting in Philly and was really hungry. Most places don't deliver after midnight but this place does. I ordered the chicken over rice($15.99) there was $3 additional fee for extra chicken, side of Mac and cheese ($5) and the Lemonade 32oz($5.40). Total $33.52. The food was hot. They got my order right. They put enough white sauce. The salad tasted fresh. The chicken was full of flavor and not dry like some places. The Mac was very cheesy. $5 seemed a lil pricey. The Lemonade was good. Not bitter. Right amount of sweet. Delivery guy was on time. The food was very filling. Ate half yesterday and the rest for lunch. Next time I'm in Philly I will try something else hopefully earlier in the...
