Franco's Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

The chicken fingers were horrible. The chicken cheesesteak was mediocre. The chicken should have been chopped better and was rubbery. The rudeness of the delivery driver was unbelievable. He talked his way out of a $10 dollar tip because he was very aggressive in reference to tips. As I said, I was planning to give him a $10 tip but the first thing that came out of his mouth was, I work off of tips. I paid with a card so he looked at me like I was crazy because I didn't write a tip amount on the receipt. Little did he know I was going to hand him a $10 dollar bill. Because of his aggressiveness, I asked him about the $3 delivery fee. His reply was they, meaning the business, keeps it. That was a lie. Sadly for him he argued with me so he lost out on his tip. He wants me to believe he wasn't getting any money for delivering the bad food. Out of curiosity I called Franco's and asked if the delivery fee was for the driver. The manager said yes, but he talked over me as well. Perhaps the driver learned to be so rude from the manager. I couldn't believe the rude delivery driver told me they keep that and his money only comes from tips. Why lie? You were going to get a $10 tip plus the $3 dollar delivery charge would have been $13. The money isn't even important. I was bothered by his rudeness, aggressiveness and his lying. I did let the manager know I was going to write a review and Franco's Pizza would never get anymore...

Francos has great food but Tony who works there is a terrible person. Franco himself called me out of the blue and said he had a letter from his merchant services saying I accused them of a fraudulent charge (mind you it was Franco's how decided it was me). I told Franco that I had no idea what he was talking about and I tried to help remedy the situation. I called my bank twice and 3way called with Franco himself twice so my bank could tell him that I never opened any claim or made any report against him. Franco and I ended the phone call on good terms and I told him if he needed anything to let me know. Fast forward two days and tony who apparently manages called my wife angry and abusive to the point she was in tears over this.

Be advised to stick to cash or another restaurant because none of this made sense to me at all. Getting a pizza for dinner one night turned into over an hour on the phone and an abusive phone call. Mind you if I did call and report fraud how did I then continue using my card with no issue and also use it at...

Speedy delivery. Food was not great though, price a bit high for the quality. Pizza could’ve used 1-2 more minutes, came cut all wrong (slivers & slanted) and sideways in the box. Topping amount was not whole pizza. Most people like heavy cheese, I do not. I’ve never ordered a salad where it came already dressed. It was a Caesar with no croutons on it…onion, nothing. Could tell driver had it sitting on top of the pizza, was a bit soggy in the container. Hoagie was just whatever. I appreciate the natural turkey, but the LTO was not thin sliced. This was a first time try, so now I know. The garlic knots are a joke, if you’ve only lived in this area maybe you think they’re fine but there’s many more places that do a better job. My other two local places don’t do hoagies, so I tried a new place for this order since everyone wanted something different. I’ve seen tons of drivers pickup here before. Guess it is just because...
