If you have never tried true Hatian cuisine, don't let this be your first taste. True Haitian food is fresh, flavorful, and worldclass. This restaurants food is mediocre at best. The food isn't fresh, it's dry, and worst of all it is bland. I got djon djon rice, macaroni pie, and stewed chicken. The chicken was DRY, which I find perplexing as it is literally sitting in it own juices. My only guess is that the chicken was frozen and reheated improperly. The only dish worth ordering was the Acra and even that had not been prepared properly. It was full of cassava spikes. I have eaten yuca all my life and everyone knows you must remove the spikes. My fiance loves Haitian food and he has been repeatedly disappointed by this place for the 5 years. I will recreate these dishes for him myself and they will be far superior. I would never spend my hard earned money here again. Also he had to wait over an hour to get his food. We got the message finally.... they don't care for...

This place is one of the worst in Philly. The employees of this business talk to customers as if they are insulting them. This bad experience has happened to me several times..., they are never ready with their meals and they are always in a bad mood and attitudes. With today they go twice, I called in less than a month and the same thing happened to me both times. But today I called and spoke to the owner of the business and he placed my order for a haitian turnover, they told me that my order was ready in 25 minutes and I told him that it was okay for it to take 40 minutes just because I know they weren't going to be ready. Before I went there, I called again and they told me that everything was ready. Well, when I arrived there was a girl and another very rude cook who started insulting me... I don't think this business should be open to serve food either they didn't give me my order. I really do not recommend this place to...

The food was very very dry! I ordered the fried turkey with macoroni and cheese and a side order of fried chicken. The fried turkey and chicken seem like they were sitting under a heat lamp allllll day long thats how dry they were. The meat was not tender. The black rice had no flavor at all and was also super dry. My macaroni and cheese had a layer of cheese on the top that was not gooey and when I peeled it apart with my fingers there was no cheese in btwn just grease with 1 piece of onion and 1 piece of red pepper. I would not recommend this ppace to anyone and lost out on $38. To the chef please do better. To the establishment if food has been sitting over an extended period of time please do not serve. I could even give a pass if maybe 1 piece of meat was dry but every part of my meal...
