Visited the park today with family, I've passed it cruising on Rising Sun many times until today. There are paved paths you can use to ride either a mountain or road bicycle, however, there are sections on the path where plant over growth has made it narrow; and other parts have patches of loose sand from water run off and creek over flow.
The trail is very poorly maintained but if you can look past all the debris, trash and graffiti under bridges and on the path... the view is very nice. For mountain bikers, I did see some break off paths that could allow them to "explore" other routes although most were blocked by fallen tree trunks which I doubt a skilled rider wouldn't have any trouble hopping over.
I wouldn't ride your bike through there at night by yourself because there are NO lights or lamps to light up the path, and the whole area seems to be populated by creeps at night. If the park was more maintained and monitored, I could see this place being used by more fitness groups and...
