Kensington Pub — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I use to go to the Kensington pub before the remodel and I like some of the changes and did not like some of the changes the drinks cost more and did not taste that great ,the dance floor is gone ,and the music was not it and our waitress was ok we kinda created our own atmosphere the things that were good was they added a atm , we ordered some cheesteak and or bugfalo chicken egg rolls i think thwy were and the food was surprisingly great ,I like they added security he was really welcoming too hey Joe also I like the added on section in the back which did have seperate music bit was empty and it was to cold still to be out there so maybe when it's warmer it will be great I will still go back and try it again atleast one more time to see about the back... retaste a different drink that hopefully taste better for the money im spending honestly dropped a couple hundred in there and wasnt drunk now 3 out of the 5 I was with were but they also popped up thiwr drinks to Hennessey so but I want to see if the music's better I will get some food again and Holla at Joe again lol so I'm just hoping a ok time can be turned around to a great time or I will be forced to have to retire the...

Thee place to go and hang out, get some food(or drinks), watch TV, with or without kids…the outside yard is so cool, with a huge projection screen. The food is amazing. The homemade pizza, cheese curds, chicken tenders, salads and mozzarella sticks are my family’s faves. The atmosphere is great, it’s very clean and well kept(inside and out). Parking is never a problem. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out. If you have children, you should see it for Christmas. Just an all around great place. Definitely a one of a kind place.

*added note: I saw that one guy on here is claiming they’re racist, bc he got booted… he brought his own food and liquor to the a bar. Anyone with ANY sense knows that’s not allowed, and that is why he got the boot. Duh. This pub is very diverse, and accepting, to all. Try the racism card somewhere else.

Also, someone said something about the neighborhood that this pub is in… it’s a good area. Low crime rates, clean and nice neighbors. I will say sometimes stragglers from the “studios” in the large building across the street wander in, but there’s never serious problems. Very racist! If you are a minority they treat you like your bottem of the barrel. I went there on my first visit . The lady carded me then treated me very poorly . Didn’t even ask me what I wanted and actually left before I can order but before that she gave me this look of disgust. I called to speak with the manager she said they weren’t in and I told her about my complaints and she hung up on me. It was my very first time there today February 10th. At 10:00 pm! I just moved to the area looking to see my neighbors and this is what I get . wow just horrible ! I wish I could give them zero stars for the way they treated me! But since this is a white people pub they are going to protect it by all cost.. but not me! I won’t give up without a fight. I’m going to make sure I PERSONALLY get this place shut down even if I have to campaign, post about them all over social media , I’m going to make sure this goes out to the public . You will regret EVER treating minorities bad. I was a beautiful black women and they couldn’t take me . My presence alone had them shook! Do better.
