At 3:52 pm, I was attended by a female cashier (name stated on the receipt). She took my order of two small Oreo shakes. I also asked if I could replace the original chocolate ice cream that comes with that shake with vanilla ice cream. She did not understand, so I explained again that I wanted vanilla ice cream in my oreo shake. She asked again if I wanted two Oreo shakes and I said yes, and that I would like for them both to be Oreo shakes with vanilla ice cream. When I received the shakes, I was going to ask for napkins but she abruptly walked away and the sliding window closed right on my face. A young man working In this checkers noticed the incident and kindly asked for a moment for him to assist me. He apologized about the incident and assisted me by giving me some napkins. At this time, I notice the shakes I was given, were messy, covered in chocolate syrup and chocolate ice cream. I thought they gave me the wrong order because I was never given syrup for these oreo shakes I order often for my little niece and I.
I kindly asked the gentlemen if it was my order of Oreo shake because it looked different and I requested it with vanilla ice cream. He informed The lady that took my order. She told tell me "that's how they". I told her, had she told me that in the beginning, I would not have ordered it but she did not say anything when I made my request earlier. She immediately began to get rude and defensive to the point that I could no longer communicate with her. She kept telling her other co-worker that I did not tell her about the vanilla. I looked over to the young lady possibly supervising and asked for my refund because the other lady began to speak rudely to me and my niece was beginning to get nervous. The window closed as they walked away and the other young lady came back and asked if I wanted another shake. I kindly declined the offer and requested my refund. The young lady went to the other window on the left hand side and yelled for me to give her my card for the refund. When she gave me the refund, I was still goong to say thank you even though it was all an inconvenience and my young niece was nervous but again, she deliberately closed the window abruptly as I was saying thanks.
I am not concerned about the shakes, because misunderstandings happen. However, what did upset me was the awful experience my niece had to experience and witness me go through. They were awfully rude, deliberately disrespectful, and unprofessional. I have offered my business to countless businesses and restaurants in the local community and none have treated me so ill as these two young ladies did. Its unfortunate because my nieces and I made it a custom to enjoy a shake weekly at this checkers but now, we do not feel comfortable...
Read moreThe drive through is serviced first then the customers that come out of their car and wait in line. The food is not properly given a lady received her Burger last day of a finger High pain through it by mistake she paid $7 for the burger and the Patty was smaller than the palm of her hand. There was a girl there with long braids hair who saw me waiting for my order and it look like it upset her she said someone to her co-worker when he had my bag in his hand and he just tossed it to the side. Five minutes later the lady who attended me said where is her food she has been waiting for a while because I had ordered like 15 minutes ago. So that particular worker walked over there to where the girl with the long braids was at started looking for my order look to the side so I bagged it was there to the corner, and it was my food. She went on to say here it is and looked at the guy that supposed to be handling the bags to the customers and said why did you put it there, and he said I don't know. But it was the lady cooking the meals with the long braids that was very rude, unprofessional didn't care about her orders. We buy food outside because we're out shopping and have no time to cook. It doesn't mean we're privileged by eating out. They seem to be angry in there as it were bothering them, but the same way they're working, is the exact same matter we also work hard. They should take into consideration that we are workers just like them and not treat us like they're doing us a favor because we want to be served with...
Read moreHello! I just visited Checkers after not visiting for so long since it is far from my house. I have always loved checkers since several of them once opened in Puerto Rico then closed a long time ago. I went here today, March 23, 2024 at around 1 in the morning. The lady at the drive thru treated me very badly and was racist, she told me that it wasn't her fault that I didn't speak English, when I was speaking English to her, she laughed in my face. She was very disrespectful and racist. How many people have received such poor service from this lady that they no longer visit Checkers. I recommend that checkers put a friendlier person to serve the customer. What she did is not done to anyone because many people with different accents and nationalities live here. I had never had an experience like this in any restaurant. I hope Checkers does...
