We tried to give IHOP a fair shot—twice. First visit, the place looked so lifeless we weren’t even sure it was open. Dim lights, no visible staff, and a vibe that said “closed” more than “welcome.” We left, hoping it was just a fluke. The next day, my parents visited a different location, craving the classic IHOP pancake experience. What they got was anything but. The pancakes—IHOP’s supposed crown jewel—were a letdown from the first glance. Stuck together like they’d been steamed, not griddled. When they pulled them apart, the middles were pale and doughy, almost raw. They noticed other tables had abandoned their pancakes too, which should’ve been a red flag. Still, they gave it a try. Butter and syrup couldn’t save them. The texture was mushy, like undercooked batter soaked in syrup. No fluff, no golden crisp edges—just a soggy mess. The eggs and bacon were passable, but when the main attraction is this disappointing, it’s hard to enjoy the sides. To top it off, there was no manager on duty to address the issue, so the pancakes stayed on the bill. No apology, no resolution. Just a quiet exit and a shared decision: no more IHOP.

I had the veggie omelette with pancakes. The omelette was really good yet the pancakes could have been light and fluffy. My sons had the bacon classic burger (no complaints) and the fish platter (fish greasy, he didn't like it). Our appetizer was the chicken strips with shrimp.. however the appetizer was just chicken and fries to compensate the lack of shrimp. The chicken strips were fried hard, thank God for good strong teeth as those strips would not be good for those with weak teeth. Our server Madison was great and very attentive to us. Would I go back to this IHop? Maybe not. It was good to hang out with my boys though.

Last night Friday June 27th me and my granddaughter went to IHOP I love eating over here it normally has beautiful people and it's pleasant me and my granddaughter ordering food lots of food and the cost $80 I'm telling my granddaughter eat up we're black folks we love food next thing you know I believe that she's the manager all the employee she's an African American woman she's huge and big interrupting our conversation she's going to scream at me and call me racist multiple times so loud and telling me other stuff and I told her mind your business this is not professional she started calling me names I started calling her names but the thing is she's doing all this in front of my granddaughter in the restaurant my granddaughter got scared of her and next thing you know she's on the phone apparently she called for other females and it went straight to the back now this female I see what she's doing she's trying to create an instant flying monkeys to agree what she did to a customer was right so my granddaughter she thinking we about to get jumped me and my granddaughter was so scared I was going to leave without paying so I'm thinking 2 wrong don't make a right I paid for it but what this woman did was absolutely dangerous and wrong got my granddaughter freaked out and putting my granddaughter in danger! but in the beginning when we first came in she was being very rude to us we ignored it. This lady is going to pay for what she did to my granddaughter. This woman is very violent even got these four women like they're ready to fight in the restaurant we was petrified! And this lady I don't know right now if she's the manager or the employee but we'll find out soon enough. I just put the star there just...

I never had high expectations for this Ihop and the service has made up for the dirty tables and silverware. But yesterday was by far the worst it has been. The server was nice at first. After waiting almost an hour for our food, she brought us the wrong order. We waited until she realized, and then waited another couple of minutes for what we actually ordered. Finally when we got our food we asked for refills on our drinks which were supposed to be free, which she charged us for. After we finished eating and our table was cleared we had to ask her for the check and a to go box after waiting 50 minutes… I waited until the end of our meal to ask to speak to the manager to correct our charge and she refused to get us the manager… I also didn’t have any silverware to place my food in the to go box because our table was cleared by the guy before she ever came back to us. The manager didn’t even know the menu and we had to point out the multiple times it said “free refill” on the menu. Our server talked shit about us for her mistake, walked over asked us if we were ready to pay then stormed off when I looked at her confused because she just got done talking shit… Absolutely horrible. The guy who cleaned our table apologized to us on the way out when he was the most helpful in that entire restaurant. Also watched the other server bring a guest there food and he had to remind her he got strawberries and whip cream on his pancakes… She gave him a...

Those good reviews that you see here have to be written by the restaurant themselves. I went here with the excitement and intention of tipping the waitress 100% or more for Christmas. Well it started going downhill as soon as we walked in the door. The wait to be greeted was horrible. We get seated and it takes about 10 mins get a waitress to finally greet us and ask if we want a drink. We finally put in our order and it takes an extreme amount of time to get our food. Maybe they were really busy? Ok I'm expecting to get a small explanation and the waitress just plops the food down as if that's the normal amount of time to wait. No apology (even though I understand it may not be her fault) or explanation. When you're working for a tip I want to feel your empathy and feel like u care. To top it off I got half my order first and by the time I got the other half I was done with the first half. If I order eggs and toast I want both at the same time I don't want the toast 5 mins after. The waitress brings the toast and throws it on the table and continues on her way without so much as a look my way. lm a great tipper tipping 50% on the usual and actually felt bad about leaving no tip but she certainly did not deserve it. It all starts with management as they should know if they are overworking their staff or their staff are not customer friendly. Horrible experience will never go back. It's just an IHOP how can u get it wrong this...
