I ordered chicken and vegetable with rice entree. The "chicken" in this meal was definitely not chicken. This "chicken" was sliced thin and although it looked like chicken it was tasteless and had consistency of fatty tissue. And no it wasn't just a fatty piece of chicken thigh, all of the meat was like that. Tasted absolutely nothing like chicken. It did not even have the feel or consistency of chicken. I threw it out and just ate the veggies with rice. This was really disappointing as I have gotten chicken hibachi from here before and that had regular cube cut chicken but this meal 100% was not chicken. Yuck 🤮 I was hopeful that this place wasn't going to be another nasty neighborhood mystery meat Chinese/Japanese take out spot where they try to pass off mystery meat as chicken but here we are....

I visited this location at 2313 E Venango St Suite 5, Philadelphia, PA 19134 July 25, 2025, and I was extremely disappointed.

I walked in, sat down briefly, and immediately saw a roach crawling on the floor near me. I actually had to kill it myself. I didn’t eat or order anything — I got up and left right away.

This is a major health concern, and honestly, no one should feel uncomfortable or unsafe in a place that serves food. I hope the business gets proper pest control before serving anyone else. I won’t...

My mother and I decided to come to Mika to check it out because it was new. Although small and only 2 tables in the restaurant, we felt welcome and was greeted. We decided to have lunch there and both ordered sushi, spring rolls and hibachi. The food was very good and the pricing was very good too. They do dine in, take out and delivery.
